Just things I've heard, nobody told me specifically. If the APD Captains have access to it already then it makes my point moot.

I'm just saying it's a benefit for a server you own that at least an APD Captain has access to it at all times. You could make the rest of splunk availability for other APD staff (e.g. Lts) contingent on community goals but IMO the APD Captain should have access to it so it can be better managed.

Because it just applies to so many Asylum posts: And @bamf you say you aren't holding anything hostage yet you do exactly that with Splunk. This is you server, Splunk would benefit the way it runs if say Captains like @The Monopoly Man had access to it but apparently he's not elite enough. Your rival (Olympus) has free stat tracking readily available for EVERYONE right on their website.

I'm not a rebel but logically I think the argument of super gangs is a fallacy because of the group cap, server stability and overall player population. Run a trial period of cartels not auto generating money and they only generate money when civs do illegal drugs that then deposits a cut into the controlling gangs account. I'll be honest, I was a die hard Asylum player but I've recently switched to Olympus because I feel the developers here are too stubborn to try new things. Just do what the community wants right now for a short period and see how things turn out, it won't hurt anyone to give it a shot.

I’m all for it and I think we should do something similar to Olympus: -Defibs become limited use (maybe twice) before needing an adrenaline shot by a medic (remove adrenaline from civs) or getting treated at a hospital before they bleed out by server restart. -Remove auto repair from civs and force them to carry toolkits or they’d need to call EMS for help. -Limit the tow script to medics only and add in a spot where they tow cars to and impound them. -Create a rank based system based on merit and playtime with @bamf giving splunk access to the faction leader or make the leader an admin who already has it. -As you climb the ranks you can do more things such as go to illegal areas and use more advanced vehicles like quilins, sports hatch and helicopters. -Add more hospitals on the map.

Defibs would need to be changed to limited use requiring a medic or hospital for full treatment. It’s the only way a whitelisted medic faction would make any sense on asylum. Also auto repair abilities for everyone would need to be removed so that EMS can provide repair or towing service.

Also I'd like to point out that Lts have been able to raid rebel outposts for a long time now and how often do you see that? Almost never. I doubt this will really upset the balance of cartels and since gang life is so dead that we have @Mayhem afk capping cartels with an sdar, maybe this will add some badly needed action.

Sounds good to me and there's absolutely nothing wrong with copying what another server does. Or do you think every single server has original ideas?

We the APD have 99% bots in our ranks so no self respecting rebel gang should be worried about an APD raid on their cartel......right? Besides, on Olympus APD also raids cartels + has armed ghosthawks so why are our Asylum gangs so worried?

@bamf please cap server 4 to max 80 players. Anything more than that and it lags like crazy and eventually crashes.
