  1. I'd disagree with @Super Bumbi, of course I've had a little over 4 hours of gameplay with the new x64 bit arma software update, this comes with more efficient processing and allows for more information to processed. I haven't seen my frames drop below 40 at all and little do they fluctuate and I have yet to have a memory leak which were horrible to experience; parallel to this, there may be errors with many individual's PC's as well as contingencies with the servers themselves at the moment, but Paratus is working on that. Community wise, I'd say we've had an increase in player disregard or neglect of server rules lately, but other than that cop/rebel ratio has been fairly healthy and communication has been okay, aside from the tiger controversy causing all of these memes to pop up, it hasn't been too toxic (I say this lightly.)
  2. Yeah, but you happen to be in a combat situation and your BH - hunter is within a city as you're fighting the cops for your bounties as you usually do. A server restart comes along as you are lethaled in-time and some people happen to come upon it faster afterwards than you can and lockpick it and drive off as soon as you are back in. Table's flipped; it's just trying to make the most logical response within the timeframe you're provided. It best to simply wipe all vehicle actively logged on the map so everyone is happy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. @Henry Facesmasher I think you've got some deep, dark conflictions stemming from your childhood...
  4. Never truly understood that... You have a 30 min. warning and lapsing rolls of 5 min. warning countdowns until restart and people still complain about it. There's restart warning messages for a reason
  5. You shouldn't have to. The server restarts and I'd hope to have my vehicle safe within my garage as well as any other vehicles to clean up server clutter if it's for forcing me to log. The server restarts to reset all environmental configurations and minor errors, and sometimes it's nice to log off to a server restart. @Henry Facesmasher I'm shooting you in the face next time I see you. lol
  6. "You are part of the firefight." No, gnashes. He's not actively participating and is not a variable of-which the aggressor to the person storing the vehicle needs to worry about alongside his fellow officer/gang mate. He's trying to log out and if i'm 2 seconds from logging to go to bed and a firefight breaks out half a kilometer or more away in Athira between fellow officers/gang mates, you best believe I'm getting my ass to bed, even if the aggression system believes otherwise. I could start a firefight with cops and if one cop possibly a half a click to 1 click out is looking to store his vehicle, he can't because of the aggression system, I couldn't give two flying shits about his car/ heli, let alone even be aware of its existence. We're not bashing the code, but it could be tweaked, not many combat store anyways, it's only combat logging that's the most prominent issue that needs to be dealt with.
  7. That laugh is infectious lmao. Fantastic piloting and great idea, you guys tried at least. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  8. @JAY1HP Thank you so much! Been looking for a solution to my mem. leaks and death crashing.
  9. (Alternate perspective) This event was the shit. Made 400k and I'm pretty sure I was Deazy's personal doctor lmao
  10. I was gonna provide a bad joke, but then again I'm the embodiment of one. please kill me
  11. I've been in mutiple situations where some how I've lost who I was chasing as they were off roading, as they've re-entered the MSR and had the idea to pass through the nearest checkpoint, notifying me and giving me the chance to catch up and re-initiate pursuit and to eventually catch them. It's an incredibly useful tool that I hope is continued. ^ This is a pain in the ass. @Gnashes, if you could make it so that notifications don't overlap and rather form a list in the top right hand corner of the screen and possesses a 3-5 second show-time to negate cluttering, that would appease alot of officers and possibly civs. Many times where I've searched people and have had the list pop up and it instantly disappear due to a notification and have had to re-search multiple times.
  12. The stupid fuck who also crashed a heli?
  13. Jesus, Destrah...Honestly this is amazing. @bamf @Paratus @Gnashes
  14. Depends upon the situation... Most of the time, the quick reappearance of officers is to simulate a real-world police force. You rob a bank in real life and kill all S.W.A.T. on scene, and a few officers. A swarm of reinforcements are going to show, it's expected. What are you gonna do, whine a complain? *Kills all officers* *More arrive* "WHY DO THEY KEEP COMING!?! WE WON! THIS ISN'T FAIR!" DEAL WITH IT.
  15. I don't know how, I'm not questioning it. Funny AF though. 10/10
  16. Shift + left click and you can place a marker on the map. When you exit the map, that marker is visible when you look in the general direction in-which you have relatively placed it. (It displays a metric distance between you and the placed marker). Use this as a reference point for distance, for traveling, etc; it's an incredibly useful feature.
  17. Kidnapped and dragged Mr. Danny Devito around for an hour, he had the AMAZING opportunity to watch us conduct a bank, kidnap cops and murder others. We took him to a rebel base and made our farewells, took out a .50 cal, unblindfolded him and slugged a few bullets of glorious karma right into his lumpy body. (Don't mess with the APD. Nerd.) @Jimmi Gibbs You're next.
  18. An evidence locker would be an incredibly interesting little addition. There have been many other servers I've seen in possession of evidence lockers at the prisons, within a separate facility or usually within each HQ. Evidence doesn't have to mean all illegal contraband such as drugs, weapons, items; why not 'weapons locker' and have the ability for it to be raided. Possibly broken up into classes; One locker within the 'weapons locker' possesses 7.62's, the next locker over possesses 5.56 and so on. Each separate locker must be lock picked. Without having mods, make each "locker" be a separate room, each door to be lock picked and within each room, have a crate that contains all separate weaponry. This will require rebels to have an orca or another mode of transportation be present for storage, adding more risk factors and spiking interest in executing a prison break along side having an option of raiding an evidence/weapons locker, being that the evidence/weapons locker be maintained there. (New prison guard division? DOC?). Shoot it down, alter it, or use this. Up to @bamf and @Paratus. But something new should be introduced. From an officer's perspective, the prison is neglected.
