Most optimal settings(not for fps)

awhile back i remember reading something bikstok posted about the "most optimal" settings for arma. Not for fps but for being able to see people easier cause ya know grass and trees can be aids super far away. I myself play on ultra everything but some say its better to play on some shit standard settings over ultra. My question is, what do you guys play at, and what do you think is the best settings to use?

I just play with everything on Ultra. You eventually learn how to spot people in grass and bushes from far off.

Pretty sure. Those haven't gotten unpacked properly since I stuck them into a box 4 or 5 years ago.

Unfortunately I don't have 20/20 vision since I took a softball to the eye when I was a kid. So the grass kinda fucks with me. I guess 2500 hours and my eyes can't adjust. Fml
