Need Some Pointers

Starting up my cadet week (yes who the hell let me in right) and wanted to see if any career cops or even new ones had any tips/tricks.

Keep it serious please, and FatMan, yes I already know not to pull a car out with an orca on spawn

Ask plenty of questions,

Don't give half tickets without asking a constable+.

Never robocop, you will make so much money on your cadet week, be as generous as possible.

Talk to as many civilians as you can, even if they aren't wanted.

Dont combat search anything, ask your constable when you can search the vehicle.

Ask questions.

Dont be a hero, if you find yourself heavily outnumbered or outgunned- RP with the suspects it may be rewarding and fun.

Most of all just have fun, its a game in the end.

If you want to, try playing with the LTs and Sergeants when you can. You can learn a lot from them just by being their battle buddy (if they want).

Role-play every situation possible.

Open your ears during Prison breaks, Banks, and Feds, and follow orders even if it's a unlawful one. (Just make sure you record him/her giving you the order & it then becomes the person who gave you the orders fault) 

Do as many Mock Ridealongs as you can before your real ridealong.

Always play on Precinct 1 or 3.

Never trust a Constable. (Yes, some Constables are great or even better than Sergeants, but a lot of Constables spread wrong information like the black plague.)

Always stay with your battle buddy.

Reading doesn't do much, common sense is where it's at. I never read the whole thing, if common sense won't answer my question I'll just ask someone. Since I asked them now I know. That's how I learned anyways.

Dont be a dick, some times look at it from the rebels point of view dont be that cringy mouth breathing cop that lisetns to a 45 minute story and still gives someone a full ticket, state your intentions right away, go through the guidebook and helicopter manual often and pair up corporals and have them quiz you on it, have someone buy you a debit card right off if youre not a donor.
