I think that this could potentially be a good idea as long as we don't go too over the top. There are some places where vehicle garages are almost non existent but I do believe that there still should be a challenging element to getting stranded that requires a player to put some work in, rather than making it easy for them. After all reward comes from hard work and taking away that challenge makes the game-play too complacent.

Not to start a bitch fest, but it does seem as though the devs/verteran staff members may have lost some enthusiasm for Asylum and they are just sticking along for the ride. A bit like some higher ups do in the APD, where they will get their activities in but never be active. I would agree in the fact that in some places higher ups and some staff will not be the right people in charge. This obviously leads into a negative impact with everything else as they are the main ones who call the shots.

So if a lot of ideas from the community are getting rejected what ideas do the devs have is the question? Personally I think Asylum just needs new things adding so that the game mode feels fresh again. Eg when the new police HB sports were added, even though it’s a minor change it did help playing cop feel slightly freshened. Obviously these changes are going to have to go a lot further than adding new skins etc.

I reckon a DMS scope would be a nice edition personally. Maybe for SGT+ though.

So I’ve been thinking about this for a while - wouldn’t it be nice to play the sniper role in Altis life? I am aware that you can just get an RCO etc and an MK-1 and I’m good at shooting long range like this. I just think that it would be nice to have a proper sniper rifle (not too powerful) eg a .308 with a DMS scope. The big question is: can this be balanced into the game and who should have access to the weapon? Just thought it would be nice to get the community’s thoughts and opinions on this subject.

It would be a very silly idea to remove the ability for cops to get in vehicles without unlocking them. The only advantage it gives is to trolls who want to steal police cars - in that case get some lock picks. And also salty rebels who are tired of getting caught by cops in their vehicles. Lets not get all SJW about the situation and start on the cops again ... lol - it’s just fine the way it is.

Also the cops are supposed to be responders ie go into the danger and get killed. This is why they shouldn't necessarily be treated the same as rebels and civilians.

Not really when you factor in UC loadouts and constantly being RDMed in Kavala for example. Quite often I just stick with the default loadout especially on UC.
