Sandra Bollock is certainly one of the better newcomers of P3, in my opinion. As long as he maintains his boundaries, I can see him being an asset to whatever precinct he decides to play on.

Officers have probable cause only when a civilian's charges add up to $500 or more or are given consent by the civilian. Other scenarios such as offroading without a viable reason, being within an illegal area, and going around a manned checkpoint also give an officer authority to search the civilian.

Be realistic about your goals. If you plan on going into business, you'd better be prepared to have some connections after graduation to get a job. If you'd like to go into medicine like I am, you'd best be prepared to sacrifice some of your Arma time for studying. Get into a lot of lab work and get hands on. It only gets more and more competitive, so try getting some internships somewhere in the field that you want to get into. For example, I'm in a pharmacy program, so I plan on becoming a pharmacy technician. Not the best pay, but the experience will look real nice.
In general, just don't assume that you'll be successful. Hell, don't even apply for a direct program yet if you don't feel like it. Do 2 years, then apply for a program that you think fits you.

Not many cheaters nowadays. Very competitive, you'll need a team. No matter how good you are, if you don't have teamwork you're gonna suck.
There will always be new things to worry about, from twitch's twitch drone to some japanese guy that has a sonic boom boom device. Mind the kill-holes.
Overall, it's a huge difference from CS, but has a much more competitive feel in my opinion.
Watch for peeks.

Battlegrounds is completely different though, Sharkeisha. It's much more casual and fast paced, whereas DayZ is slower, more difficult, and has more consequences for being a rooty tooty shooty but never hitty.
