If you haven't looked at them already, the "No Easy Day" and "No Hero" by Mark Owen are great reads. No Easy Day is about killing Bin Laden, and No Hero takes a look at the evolution of becoming a US Navy Seal (the training, the lifestyle, the at-home life, etc.).

Whenever I've played medic, I've run into the same problem and it's definitely a little disheartening when someone gives up on you when you drove/flew halfway across the map for them. How much would a medic be paid for attempting to save someone? $400? Half of what you make actually reviving someone. Also, Altis is not 10,000km; perhaps you meant 10,000 meters = 10 kilometers.

Wihtelisting EMT will restrict people from playing it. Some people who play medic now won't want to go through the process, and it will all but prohibit new players from trying it out themselves.

1.) There's rarely that many medics on to begin with. 2.) The ones that are on just sit in Kavala because it's easier/more consistent money. 3.) In some cases, some medics are "gang medics" and are only on to revive their gang-mates.

This. But at the same time, if I'm already in the process of cooking meth/at the distillery and I'm alone, I will always shoot first and sort it out afterwards. However, if I'm driving up to meth lab/distillery and I can tilde whoever is there, I will attempt to make contact/wait for them to leave.

It's a red zone where major money is made. Dying is on you for thinking everyone will play nice.
