  1. Welcome! For starters, try fishing to make some money legally. Picking apples/peaches is too time-consuming. Hope you have fun! -Tae'Jon
  2. Keep in mind that once you shoot at them, they are now initiated with you, meaning they can kill you legally. YOU are not initiated with them if you only shoot at them. It's sort of a loophole to get them to shoot back at you. For example, you're mining, and you see a truck pull into the quarry. You can shoot at their tires (warning shots). However, if they don't get out to engage you, you cannot kill them. If they get out and return fire, you are free to eliminate the threat. As for your question stated in your original post, coming up with a solution would be rather difficult, as a huge variable on Asylum would have to be altered in order to suit your personal needs. In my opinion, the rules for engagement are fine as they are. Try my "loophole" method to see if they shoot back at you before they can close the gap and stick you up. Perhaps have a friend scout for you while you mine so you can be better prepared in the event hooligans try to screw with you. Hope this helps!
  3. I don't believe that you spend around 5k on magazines. Also, how do you possibly spend that much on your Y inventory? I still do not understand your issue with the current money-cap. Please be more specific.
  4. I'm not sure this has anything to do with the current money-cap. I understand what you are saying, but understand rebels get access to 7.62 rifles at all times. They also generally have the advantage in most engagements. The current APD loadouts do cost more than 4k as well. Most of the time, I am spending at least 6k on my MXM plus ammunition. This is not including the cost of pulling out my Hunter/Orca with the risk of them getting blown up / chopped.
  5. You should point out your reasoning why it should revert to the old system. You aren't providing much of an argument here :-) My suggestion is to invest into some real estate if you are money capped. Or put the money into a gang account.
  6. No matter what kind of power PC you have, Arma will forever be laggy
  7. I couldn't agree more. As a matter of fact, when I first saw this on Steam this morning, I thought the SAME thing. Admins, prepare!
