Boris
It's going well, and it seems promising, but issues are starting to come up. Their very first module was delayed, despite it being "a few bug fixes" away, and it's lead to a lot of people having a very negative backlash. Reddit/Twitter is full of people wondering if Identity was a moneygrab scam. Since it looks like the life game to end all life games, i'm holding on hope. You don't often see products without a somewhat functioning prototype make it far past a kickstarter campaign. That is because if you generate a bunch of hype at the beginning of development, quickly the hype goes down and the money disappears. They should have taken the financial hit to get some kind of early early alpha prior to starting a fundraiser, now all they have is an angry mob of people wondering why in two years after their donation they haven't gotten to play anything. HotWings
Dayz is still alpha after 5 years, that's after development had already started and a major company backing it. 2 Years really isnt all the long to get a game build and running from scratch. Link to comment
