Seeing tracers fly all around you when you had your Night Vision on was the scariest feeling ever. Also cartel fights at night were more suspenseful too! I paid $ to play Arma because of the day and night cycle. Now it feels flat just having sunny days and perfect weather. And the challenge of night. Fighting in it I miss. Then play a different server, not like bohemia removed it. Personally, i disliked nighttime. It was pointness, due to the fact it just made everything green, gave you shti fov and no depth perception. If you bring nighttime back, remove NVGs, and put it into a permenant (Nighttime cycle wise) twilight/dusk setting, forcing use of flashlights and vehicle lights. Yeah, seeing the flashing police lights at night was cool but it doesn't justify all the other annoyances. Shit fov as Hiraku mentioned, pointless because everyone had access to night vision, muzzle flash becoming a pain in the ass, wrecking into chicken wire because it wasn't that visable while night and spawning in at your house and being completely blind. The "I pay for x so it should be here" argument does not work on server based games. Go to a different server if you dislike a choice of one. I pay for ghosthawks, does that mean im complaining that im unable to fly them on asylum? No. because i could go to a KOTH server and do it. And I would wish that he would bring it back to the way it was for over 2 years until the recent change. The ease of access to NVG kind of removed the "need" of a night time. I would love for night to return, but NVGs be hard to come by or none at all. SV Paul Posted February 9, 2016 Report Share Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) The thing is that the time cycle is set to 3x now so If night came back it wouldn't be an issue because the "green" time would be only 15-30 minutes. I've been a long member of this community (2 Years) and I never seen anyone complain about night. I was shocked that it was removed. The servers don't really feel right anymore. You can't really see police lights etc... That real factor is gone.. I've been through the queue system and forced rotolib i'm sure this will change someday too.
