Such a big loss for the staff and the community as a whole. We go way back, we used to RP all the time on cop, you were instrumental in showing me the ropes of being an admin, you've been a valued member of the admin KOTH squad (in spite of all Jin's yelling haha). I appreciate everything you've done for me personally and for the community as a whole. You've always been one of the good guys. I'm sad to see you go, but at least there will still be plenty of opportunity for us to dunk on sniper pussies in KOTH together. It's too bad things have come to this, but times change. If I remember correctly (and I could be way off here) some of the achievements require you to go one beyond the listed value. So try getting one more arrest and it should work. But again, take that information with a grain of salt. Anyway, grats on the achievement, hopefully you'll be able to rock a sweet new title now.

Thanks for the kind words. But it was time. I'm just too busy. Maybe one day when my schedule is a little less crazy I'll prostrate myself before Olio and Volunteer and see if they'll have me back. But I have a feeling we'll all be playing identity by then.....or hiding in fallout shelters post 2016 presidential election.....interpret that however you see fit.

Always good to see streamers around. And while promotion from streamers was definitely a boost for Asylum in the past, can't blame the guy at all for keeping it to himself. Back in the day Lirik got stream sniped and fucked with so regularly that he stopped playing. Came back for like 15 minutes 6 months later, got stream sniped/trolled as soon as he logged on and that was pretty much the end of it. These guys are still trying to enjoy their gameplay, even if they have 1,500,000 subscribers. Anyway thanks for sharing the video.

I'm always astonished by these "flex your rights" types. How do they really expect it to go? "I'm not driving, I'm traveling" -Guy who thinks he's an attorney "Oh my mistake sir, by all means continue traveling" -said no cop ever. Don't get me wrong, it's important to understand your rights and what police can and cannot legally do. But why wouldn't you just politely comply, then call a lawyer if something illegal happened? Instead they elect to get into pissing matches with the cops and proceed to act surprised when the pepper spray comes out. And the craziest part of all is these self professed "legal experts" don't even seem to understand that a cop can absolutely order you out of your vehicle during a traffic stop. Allow me to elucidate the true meaning and purpose of these forums....to talk about video games, not religion.

@FozzyBear I'm going to address your original post and a number of the subsequent replies in the most straightforward way possible. Suggestions are just that, suggestions. Over the past couple years, there have been a lot of them. Some good, some bad. Ultimately, Paratus decides which are which for his community. Despite the level of involvement and devotion we all feel towards this community, at the end of the day Paratus is in charge and will decide what he feels is best for the community and his creative vision. This will not always be what people want. A lot of changes can be bewildering to the admin staff too, but what you need to understand is that this is Paratus' baby. Neither you, nor I, have the right to demand change. We can suggest, plead, beg and bitch but ultimately he'll do what he thinks is best. Additionally, admins are janitors. We clean up. Our impact on development is precisely nil. We can suggest things, just like you, but as stated above it's up to Paratus to pick and choose the suggestions (if any) he wants to implement. Lastly, there is a common thread among unsuccessful suggestions. They either disregard balance, don't fit with established gameplay or are really just complaints/insults masquerading as suggestions. These three basic issues harpoon a good portion of suggestions from the get-go. If you want a suggestions to have a decent chance, do what Krypton did. Make a simple, matter of fact thread discussing it, preferably with a poll to help quantify the response. Make a reasonable request in a respectful way. Make sure it doesn't fuck balance up. Let it go if Paratus doesn't decide to use it. And as a broader note that isn't directed at anyone specifically, don't make helping you more trouble than it's worth. Don't denigrate every single attempt at appeasement, only to turn around and decry the lack of community feedback implementation.

I'm not a gang leader, or even very good at the pew pew stuff. But don't worry, I've got a fool-proof recipe for success. And the final, most important element; you need to be committed. Once you have all necessary items and the right outlook, you'll be ready to dominate. And when you taste that sweet sweet victory, you'll get to reap the ultimate reward. You'll earn the right to make snarky comments in side chat. Obviously I'm just joking around, most of the really good gangs didn't start out being amazing. They seem to recruit the best talent, then they play together long enough to work cohesively as a team and overtime the group as a whole gets better. So hit the recruitment section and try to find some crack shots and train to work as a team.
