Just use protector. I also don’t think this is worth the effort of the devs to confirm it with the captains just for cadets to use the spar anyway

They’re adding more weapons, so why not try? Sting was a thing. Why was it removed? Let’s get it reviewed.

    Month(s) of Absence: April

Reason: No luck on activities in the first part of April, and have been at a Pokemon Regionals Tournament this weekend (still here). Would like to focus on other areas in the remaining weeks rather than grinding hours.

what kind of benefits would you want to be seen? general too yeah. feel like there could be some stuff to add that is low intensity to either code or design.

Blue lights only option (think zdeat suggested and some others suggested that), a unique APD horn, APD skins for the Sports, more uniforms/vests (Deck Crew vests? Think they have the same stats as the Police/Gendarmerie ones) for marked units. Would recommend the Raven vest, but it has different stats than others (storage/level I). Perhaps a police skin backpack for UC slots (although they already get the most for an APD slot).

  4. APD really could use more Asylum+ benefits for marked units, and plus in general would benefit from more features. It’s a subscription service that isn’t getting enough added, imo.

i think one of the main concerns is the lack of care for new players. this isn't an admin exclusive thing, many gangs don't give them a chance either. its why hyper has so many numbers, we try to guide them. but on the admin side of this topic, i see new people in chat asking for help a LOT, but no staff replies. most of the time its just questions about something on the server, and gets answered by a player, but sometimes they legitimately need admin support but don't get it.

the server won't grow if this keeps up, and who knows, one of these new players that get pushed away could be an exceptional dev, able to contribute greatly to the server.

On the APD side, I frequently see significantly reduced tickets and pardons for players with the “New Player” flag. Roleplay has gone down over the years, including within the APD. The roleplay aspect might not have an answer besides individually pushing fellow old dogs to increase it- @DarkKnight interested to see if you’d think it could work. I’m inclined to agree with some others that Athira is not a good city to have at the top of the civ spawn list. That’s not to say that Kavala was free from frequent deaths to new players, but it was a different player type distribution in a sense.

  6. Could it be coded so that you have to pull it out in a house menu setting, and if theres “x” pieces of furniture already spawned on the map, it prevents more from spawning until restart/soft-log by the respective house owner/gang leader (furniture unpullable by regular keys)? Maybe made so that specific earthquakes can “return” the furniture to storage if an admin/system suspects it’s lagging?

    Month(s) of Absence: February

Reason: Significant portion of condo unit's tiles have popped and cracked. I am expecting the lease to be terminated, and to have to move out this month.

That’s exactly what it means, the world is about to end. You no longer have time to read charges or allow them to explain/continue to explain. So you give them a ticket based off of what ever roleplay they managed to get out.

An I missing something? Is the 2 minute procedure listed twice in the guidebook?

We have two different times for stopping the reading of civilian's charges:
    Less than one minute: https://gyazo.com/2ad3432ca3f431c1adfb5c14ff4890a2
    Two Minute Procedure: https://gyazo.com/6fe8463c32a1aa580cab7dbfbf5fb846

  9. Currently, the Two Minute Procedure sub-section within the Processing section of the guidebook lists "Any suspect in custody within two minutes to server restart must be given their ticket. If they refuse to pay the ticket or fail to pay within a timely manner, they must be sent to jail."

Above it, within the Ticketing sub-section, lists "You do not need to read a civilian's charges if: 1. If the server has less than one minute until restart."

The Two Minute Procedure is causing confusion in that the verbiage can imply that APD officers must move directly to giving the suspect(s) their ticket(s) instead of reading their charges between the 1-2 minute mark.

My suggestion is to explicitly merge the one minute until restart charges reading exemption into part of the Two Minute Procedure, and to keep the harassment clause within the same sub-section as it is now.

Tried it for a whole restart Good money but using the Hunting Rifle(MK14 Classic) makes it not worth it. IF we can lower the prices of the hunting Rifle and Ammo. I would do it but with that i rather stick with the rook or any weapon that has 30 bullets mags

Gonna need talents in hunting ground to make it worth with the hunting rifle if not oh well

I suggest this topic to go Higher than just APD. I would like to hunt but not spending much @MarchingBands

People who will say. Hey you could do something else than hunting ground like mining etc. Yes.. SItting in 1 place waiting for the truck the finish loading or you finish picking or mining. Hunting ground makes you move, Do something. stay alert the whole situation while picking or processing make you sleeping/bored

Both the Kozlice and the Mk14 Classic aren't cost-effective for hunting, although that's for a potential developer suggestion. Getting them legal for the Hunting Grounds is something I'd see as more agreeable given balancing, and slightly less risky (APD don't frequently visit the Hunting Grounds, from my experience, although it is near a Rebel Outpost and Coke Processing.)

  11. If a non-evasive and non-aggressive suspect is given a 50% increase by a SGT+ order, would the methodology for the maximum ticket cost be 100% of the full listed Ticket Guide value (deduct half of the full listing, then add half of the full listing), 75% (half of the full Ticket Guide pricing plus half of that new starting value), or something else?

Backstory: I was the Constable+ tether; specifically a Perm Corporal (Retired Sergeant). A non-evasive and non-aggressive suspect at Pyrgos HQ (charged with 1 count of Manipulation of Police Gates) was informed by me that my Cadet would start processing him; the suspect stated to me that he wanted a higher-up because he did not wish to be processed by a Cadet. I texted a LT (all channels with on-duty (online) APD Staff were at capacity), the LT exited a heli soon after, and began discussing the higher-up request. The LT got killed from a distance by a civilian during it. I revived the LT, and the LT ordered a 50% increase, leaving immediately after that. I discussed this (and the handbook Processing page's current wording) with a Sergeant, and have been advised to seek a LT's input.

As far as I can see there is no backlog of interviews waiting to be done, and anyone that requests one is getting one within good time. So I'm not sure that this solution actually fixes anything at all.

From what I understand, the survey that was done April-May overwhelmingly suggested that the vast majority of cops aren't interested in fighting the same federal event every time the cooldown ends against superior numbers and superior weaponry and I think people can see this for themselves by watching how many cops log off when they start getting spammed like that.

I agree. Although I'm a Retired Sergeant (perm Corporal), I've hopped on a bit ago. I didn't join the APD for the fights, didn't stay for the fights, and don't appreciate the idea of frequently going in to federal events knowing that it's unrealistic to "win" regardless of skill set.
