Bounty hunters are to act in absence of APD. Why should you be equipped with the same weaponry as the APD?

I am sorry but 13.84307846076961519240379810095% aka 13.8% of officers have a mxm. Why should it be given to every single bounty hunter?

Not saying they should, I was just saying that it wouldn't really be OP if they did. However, only like 1% of cops have the MK1 and it is given to every single rebel so...

Bounty hunters getting somthing just because cops have it isnt a fair argument either. Otherwise they would be running around with MXM's & Protectors

I don't see why a bounty hunter couldn't have an MXM or a Protector tbh... Not OP at all, maybe if would bring life back to bounty hunting with anything more than pistol banging in Kavala.

MX is boring isnt really the ultimate support to legalize another weapon

The only current viable bounty hunting weapon besides the po7 because of how cheap it is, is the MX. It lacks flare, there are no other options. No assault rifles with a half way decent ROF. The SPAR is not overly good, it is not even a high caliber, but it is a high ROF 5.56 that has no reason to be illegal.

  4. Name [IGN] - Shadow

    Arma 3 Hours - 2300

Why should we accept you? - I have a good amount of money, lots of real estate, know all cartel call outs, and can be a valuable asset.

Who can vouch for you? - Maybe Winchester

Previous Gangs - SM, TA, B2Z, Mongols (Way back)

Any further comments? - 2 mil cap, 3 mil prestige, 2 mil in assets, not afraid to spend money.

I think action should only transfer from civ to cop and vice versa if it's a severe offense. For (not totally accurate) example: If I accidentally kill someone on civ because I didn't know my group hadn't properly initiated, it shouldn't give me points on cop. If I improperly use lethals and accidentally rdm a civ in the crossfire on cop during a gun fight, I should only get me point, not a ban. The only time it should carry over is for perm bans, duping account wipes, mass rdm, those things. You essentially have 2 different identities with two sets of expectations, when you're not representing the police force you should be held to the same low standards as everyone else. When you're on cop you should be held to the higher standards that are in place because it IS a whitelisted position that even a noob can recognize, however each side you play on shouldn't have bearing on the other. This is especially true for people that want to mess around on civ and have fun in their own way without necessarily breaking server rules, yet they still get points and the like for inappropriate behavior over petty things like 911 calls.

TL;DR Two sides, two identities, two sets of expectations, and two different punishment processes.

This man is on to something.

Threatening an IA should still be punishable.

Getting a single one time RDM ban on Civ should not affect cop reputation.

    Yeah gosh.

He still has permanent captain and hes an admin which makes him influential, and I saw a post about him saying there was too make dumb cops so figured I would share this with him.

  7. First of all, not sure how this is point worthy unless by "I will be speaking to a LT soon" means threatening an IA, but this cadet is clearly one of the reasons why roleplay does not work with bounty hunters because the cops think they are above bounty hunters, they aren't. I play bounty hunter and cop and do not see a reason why not all cops can be as qualified as me when it comes to roleplay. They do not vet these cadets they just pull them in as part of an SGT activity participation point system and flood the APD with terrible cops(Mostly cadets who never become constable) but these guys still get their shot at ruining another player's experience. Can we please do a thorough evaluation of all current APD officers Constable- (Including myself) and remove these guys so we never have to have an IA submitted in the first place. If an IA is submitted then that means someone's gameplay has already been ruined. We need to make it much tougher on this and enforce some better roleplay rules all around. @Clint Beastwood @DarkKnight @Leady @Clockwerk

    • Why do you want to join Envy? Pretty cool gang, I am an asset and would like to fight cartels more often on servers other than my s3 home land. I know all cartels like the back on my hand. Every spot in them. I know everything about the server and have access to cop and civ. I am always on top in kills and have plenty of assets at my disposal. I am not afraid to burn through money and I have plenty of it to burn.
    • Anyone in the gang that can vouch for you? Maybe Gaskal.
