    Our framework is really nothing like the original Altis Life framework at this point.  I don't think there would be any way to merge in a current framework with what we have since we (well Paratus) have basically re-written most of it anyway.  There was a time that we entertained scrapping basically all core components to re-write them as a new "framework", but that is a tremendous amount of effort to make something like that happen.  Arma 3 is really long in the tooth, so doing something like that at this point would likely not be a great investment in time.  
    Again, I'm really hopeful that a 64-bit server can alleviate most of these issues.  The server just craps out when it gets close to 3GB of memory usage in the OS and 2GB of memory usage in game (that the server sees as "used").  Those are 32-bit limitations.  If the 64-bit server executable is not half baked and can actually ramp up, then the issue is more of server side FPS and making sure that we keep that at an acceptable level (to decrease things like de-sync).

    If you look over the last 30 days though, we average about 449 players per hour connected to the servers (24/7), and while there are times of day that the servers are not full (obviously) there are equal amounts of time that you have to spam to get in.  
    Also, let's look at the going forward (or near past) instead of trying to rehash months ago.  We've made tremendous progress in the last week in particular with working on what we believe is the root cause of the issue - server memory consumption.  When the admin team is able to stay on top of the memory and proactively hard restart servers with near critical memory utilization, then the number of kicks is reduced to nearly zero.

    @BlackShot  12 hours of Asylum thru the past weekend using JEmalloc I experienced 0 mem leaks.  Finally able to enjoy my new monitor at 2560 x 1440 144mhz.

    Hi guys this is my first guide so please tell me opinions/problems and I will try and fix them!
    UPFRONT COST

    This formula is assuming you have a carryall backpack and you waited for rum to age fully (rum takes 3 restarts to age fully)

    If the answer is a decimal go down in weight until the answer is a whole #

    8x#needed +16x#needed (EX- for off-road the formula is 8x82+16x82=1968)

    It's been a few weeks since we patched (what with the holidays and all).  I hope everyone had a nice break.  We have lots of feature tweaks and bug fixes in this patch (thanks @Gnashes).  We also have a feature that has changed substantially, but I hope it will help with the overall memory utilization on the servers.  We will just have to see how this pans out.  
    You now "toggle" house crates into displaying or hiding while scrollwheeling on your homes (Show Crates and Hide Crates) The proper talent is now needed to detonate a suicide vest Cop gear check now works properly and will seize non-whitelisted gear Trackers placed on vehicles will persist through the player disconnecting and reconnecting Salt is now able to be mined anywhere the ground is "salt" Feign picking for UCs only shows when not in a vehicle now (rank must be hidden as well) Cadets may no longer offer Parole Flipping a vehicle should no longer allow for explosions You can no longer pickup items from inside a vehicle Master Bounty Hunter requirement changed to "Motivated" Put in/Pull Out of vehicle is yellow for ease of access You can no longer toggle the locks on Asylum-placed houses when not in a gang Cadets can now seize illegal items into evidence You can no longer commit suicide if you are downed Moved MX/MXC to Skiptracer, added Skiptracer vehicle and clothing shop.     Fixed a bug preventing vehicle skins from loot crates from being crafted and purchased The "Hide Storage" option has been removed.  We are not seeing a reduction in memory when crates are hidden, so I'm removing that option Fixed the Skiptracer vehicle shop near DP19 to make vehicles spawn at that location The APD on Tanoa may now purchase APD and under cover jeeps. Hotfix 2:
    Crates will now be able to be spawned if you have soft logged or disconnected and then come back to the server.  For gang crates, if the person that originally hit "Show Storage" DCs, then someone else in the gang will need to "Show Storage" again to bring them back in.   Prisoners will now be able to get their aggression out once again in laser tag MBH tracking message should now show the proper time until you can re-track your bounty Drug runner plane pings should now show an actual message to the APD

    The calculation for how cartel fridge's fill with dirty money has been tweaked.  If a server is near full, the fridge will fill much faster - but if the server has few players, then the fridge will fill much slower.   The price of meth has been increased by ~17% Various map marker colors have been tweaked to work better Fixed a few minor exploits

    Naked backpack and offroad is the way to go. You lose nothing on death, but make money on successfull runs. Its about negating your losses, not going for the big payday

    Hes right.  As a player of Asylum its your responsibility to have the hardware setup to record and post any rule violations.  The moderators/admins do a great job reviewing these.  These actions by each of us help maintain RP.  So noobs figure out how to post those videos.

    The prison has been moved and totally remade. Thanks go to Hubschraber for the new prison design, which gives us the ability to overhaul its functionality in the near future. At the request of BIS, we are removing the Market system for duplicate loot crate rewards. Instead of having the ability to sell them (even for credit), you'll now receive credit automatically as soon as the duplicate item is received from a crate. Added confirmation dialog when buying Apex weapons if you don't have the Apex DLC. Added khaki RCO scopes for rebels and all rebel scopes for undercover cops. Fixed a restrain hotkey exploit. Improved the locking/removal of items which you're not permitted to have. Fixed a group cap exploit. Added Kebab and Doner Kebab food items.. really, Gnashes? Added medic uniforms and prison uniform to civ-seizable gear for cops. Fixed an exploit for selling at garages. The welcome message has returned for new civilians. SkipTracer base has been relocated. The Kavala/Georgetown police respawn cooldown has been removed. You can now repair vehicles which are on a dock. Civilians can no longer pick up dropped SWAT Mk1 weapons. At the request of BIS, the CSAT ghillie crate reward was replaced with CSAT fatigues. If you had the ghillie unlocked already you'll now be able to buy CSAT fatigues. The US Army desert camo promotion has come to an end. It will never be available again unless you unlocked it in the last couple of weeks. Hotfix 1
