We use common language, just like most police departments nowadays. If some people selected to use 10-codes and others did not there would be confusion. That is why the Captains do not like the idea of them.

If you don't want to use this in your roleplay, its simple. DONT USE IT. Otherwise, this is here if you are interested in using it within your roleplay.As for the OP: If you want to be using these around civilians in-game to add a touch of further cop RP, fine. Have at it. However, please keep TS communication with other cops as plain English. Obviously, not all cops are going to go out of their way to learn/memorize 10-Codes, so plain English will always be required for the TS.
For the people telling him to sod off to GTA V and sod off with this "suggestion": There is an officer that is trying to increase roleplay around civilians. Something that is at a lack with the APD at times and always looking for some way to improve it, and you are telling him to sod off more or less. Lets be a bit more constructive then that in the future...
I understand where you're coming from, but I would prefer if nobody used these because the majority of officers do now know/understand 10-codes and would only create confusion.

@Explanicide That's a very cute post. But a complete a waste of your time to right it and a waste of mine for reading it. Nothing in the rules says you can't commit a crime and then play it off at the court house, in fact that's exactly what the function at the court house is for. Also undercover cops under the rank of LT are not even allowed to camp rebel so you can stop trying to bullshit people there especially when Lieutenants do not even do it very often without a reason and the entire purpose of using undercover in asylum let alone in any real life police department in the world is so you can't tell them apart from the civilians. If you were actually a good rebel like most of the gangs have you would be able to tell whose an undercover cop right away. Plus there are ways you can check to see if somebody is undercover but you're to busy making bullshit posts to know how to differ the two. Oh and banks,feds, and prison breaks happen daily multiple times a day.

I agree and I really don't thing we need anything more than this mod and in all honesty its not all that much more effort as long as you keep it simple with this one mod and don't go crazy and do everything we did last time.

Yeah but its only one mod and the mod it self is stable. I do not know if any of the current scripts will mess with the mod or vise versa but I doubt it

So I think we can all agree that the old modded server was a nightmare. But its was fun at the same time. So from time to time I take a look through the steam workshop for anything new and what i found was the A3L vehicle pack. With most or the cars from A3L. So while I know why the old server failed was because we didn't own the mods and it was too much as a pain to keep up with the mod developers. What if we just started with the A3L vehicles and put it on Altas where we know its stable unlike Australia. The A3L pack has all of the vehicles for all of the factions like civ, cop, and med. I dont know about everybody else but when we had the old modded vehicles especially police cars I had so much more role play just by pulling people over for stupid RP reasons because you could actually see the light bars and what not. Right now I dont really care if we cant re skin them I just think the would be a good start and honestly I would be happy with only this for a modded server
