This guide allows all of what you just said... What's your point?

it’s a video game. who cares how people drive

Because this is a video game where you can possess items that took you a lot of time to get. Say you have 20k worth of gear on you, and then someone going 300kmh down Kavala Square hits your car and blows up and you lose all your stuff. If your way of earning money gets you 2k per minute, you just lost 10 minutes of time because some idiot was an asshole.

if you're looking to drive like you do irl then maybe u should go play gta rp where u have to stop at red lights and do the speed limit.

This is just to prevent people from crashing into each other and blowing up. This is nowhere near what you do irl.

  4. Drive on the Right Side of the Road

This may seem like an obvious one, but many people take up the whole road by driving in the center. Although you might not see other vehicles, vehicles may appear out of nowhere causing a collision or one or more cars to be driven off the road. All in all, drive on the right side of the road and stay in your lane no matter what... even if you don't see anyone or you're in a remote place.

Drive a Reasonable Speed for the Environment

The given speed limits (80 km/h on highways out of cities | 50 km/h in cities and on side/dirt roads) are way too slow for quick travel, but speeding 300 km/h down the main road in Kavala is absurd. You should drive at a speed you know you can control your vehicle and stay in your lane, and at a speed where you can stop if someone pulls out of a side street. If there is high vehicle traffic or foot traffic (like in Kavala Square), you should never drive at a speed which would cause death to pedestrians or explosions to vehicles.

    Yield at Intersections ALWAYS

When you approach a T intersection from the less busy street, always check both ways before entering the road. A combination of this and a speeding driver can cause a deadly crash.

Slow and Pull to the Right when you hear Sirens

Medics and Police are the exception to the speed rule, so they might be traveling dangerously fast. If you hear a siren or see an ambulance or police car with lights on, pull over to the side of the road and slowly decelerate to prevent injury to anybody involved.

Slow or Stop when Approaching Checkpoint Gate

Checkpoint Gates constrict the road to a size where only 1 car may fit. When two speeding vehicles approach Kavala checkpoint where there is a hill reducing visibility, a crash is unavoidable. When slowly approaching the gate, the vehicle leaving the city exits before the vehicle entering the city enters.

These are a few of my universal ideals for courteous driving on Altis Life. Please feel free to leave comments / suggestions concerning courteous driving.

Well I have just the thing for you, unfortunately, I only have houses on server 1, But considering the fact that you want to buy on s4 I would lower my usual price of 450k per shed to 350 if you would be interested

Thanks, but I already have a house full of gear (lots of mags and guns and loadouts) that would be a pain in the ass to move across servers, so I have to decline.

@Real Buddy While I agree medic could use some tweaking, I'm not about to have you drag my incapacitated ass halfway across the map away from my gang members/a fight just to get rez'd.  "5 - 10 minutes" = my vehicle will de-spawn so it's a big NOPE from me.

Medics, IMO, sit in Kavala because it makes their job too easy. 100% chance someone needs a rez every 45seconds - 1minute in Kavala (at prime time) > actually "patrolling" around the rest of the island to get that 1 ping every 5mins from someone outside Kavala that actually needs a medic / isn't get rez'd by a gang member or cop.

Like other comments have said, if there was a epipen one-use item to rez people, you could still be revived for 5 minutes. Bringing you back to the hospital after 5-10 minutes could be for if you crash out in the middle of nowhere with lots of gear that you dont want to lose. Medics could still be able to revive on the spot for 5 minutes or so

My main complaint about this is it would be just to tedious and what would you do for guys way out in the middle of say red-zones or just in the desert i sure as hell know i am not waiting to be picked up then driven across the map

Lots of medics have helicopters, you could be loaded into a helicopter and flown. Also, both Kavala and Pyrgos could act as main hospital centers instead of just clinics.

  8. To increase the fun and functionality of the medic role, a system similar to moving downed/restrained players could be implemented but for dead bodies, allowing medics to load patients into ambulances and bring them back to hospitals. Once at the hospital, the patient could be able to be revived even after a prolonged period of time (5-10 minutes). This would allow for more realistic and intriguing game play where medics would have to make use of hospitals in order to revive people after long amounts of time being dead. Medic's on-the-scene reviving abilities could be nerfed to more like when a civilian revives a dead person, limiting speed and endurance. This would provide an intensive to make role-playing more fruitful. Comments and suggestions welcome!

My idea for another criminal activity similar to Federal Reserve to do in Asylum is an APD Evidence Storage room (maybe in Kavala). All weapons, items, and other contraband (excluding vehicles and gold bars) seized by the APD will go into crates inside the evidence room (crates like house crates), and a similar procedure to breaking into the bank vault would be needed to access the evidence room as a civilian. This could be used to get back lost firearms or contraband. This is just an idea to diversify and add new situations to Asylum life, comment suggestions or thoughts on my idea.

    Suggestions:

    • Evidence storage resets every server restart to prevent congestion (MoldyLunchbox)

  10. Here is an idea for a possible addition for medic:

When somebody dies, they have a few minutes of being available to be revived, and then they are forced to respawn. My suggestion involves removing the forced respawn. You are able to be revived by a defibrillator for around a minute, however, you are not forced to respawn after this time. For another 9 minutes after defibrillator becomes ineffective you will be able to be taken to a hospital, and if there is a medic present, they will be able to revive the person at the hospital. Here's a compact list of the changes recommended:

    • Moved forced respawn to 10 minutes
    • Decreased time after death until defibrillator becomes ineffective to 1 minute
    • Added loading dead bodies into vehicles *
    • Added moving dead bodies *
    • Added a 10 minute period after death in which if in hospital, medic can revive player

    * I do not code, so I do not know how feasible this might be. I would suggest maybe spawning an AI with the same clothes in the vehicle that is in a 'knocked out' animation, and when removed, teleport body to next to the vehicle.

    * Again, I do not know how feasible this is.

In all, I think this addition would add an interesting aspect to the game, making medics more useful. People will just use their own defibrillators most of the time, and the only downside is a few minutes of decreased ability. As playing medic myself, many times I will be responding to a call when someone else revives them. It think this addition would make medic a more interesting role to play.

I honestly dont know how they thought they would be able to fool the public that two aircraft could get that close and not collide and even if they were at a angle the jet blast could have warped the rudder of the F-14

    hey its a cool shot

couldn't make it any closer besides IRL the tom cats rudder would have collided with the F-5

thats why i coudlnt get closer in my screenshot

my profile picture is another view of the same thing any lower and the vertical stabilizers would have collided.
