You misread my statement. I was saying that hard-aiming would be more viable when everyone was forced to 1st person only, thus making defending easier. You can't exactly defend by sitting in cover and popping up to shoot if you don't have 3rd person.. In any case, the benefits and disadvantages of 1st person only is kind of irrelevant. If the admins truly want to determine the effects, they simply have to implement the change for a trial period. I just strongly dislike the idea of it being cartel zones only. Seems like this thread is just filled with yay-sayers who couldn't name five spots for arms dealer if their lives depended on it.

I see your point, but you have to realize that the defenders wouldn't be sitting behind cover while defending. They would be hard-aiming locations, where the attackers could approach from. Much like how combat in CS works. Except running and shooting in 1st person in Arma is much more difficult.

Let's be serious here for a second. Why would you want to force 1st person for cartel zones only? If you are going to seriously consider hardcore settings, you should implement them everywhere on the map. Cartel content is already struggling the way it is, and a huge change like this would discourage more rebels from even going to cartels. Why would I go to a cartel where my fighting capabilities are limited? I'll just start a fight in donor town or rebel outpost. Almost nobody actually caps cartels for the benefits. We do it in order to get a fight against an opposing gang. I guarantee all the gangs would just be setting up fights against each other in 3rd person areas rather than being limited to 1st person. With that being said, I think you need to be very careful about how you approach a change like this. The poll should really be calling for a trial period of 1st person only. For example having it forced during the weekend. By the end, you will have plenty of feedback from everyone. Personally I don't think 1st person is more interesting combat wise. It makes defending a lot easier, which is not really suitable for Asylum where attacking almost every fighting location is already much harder than defending it.

Very true actually. I'm always scared going to contested turfs, because every gang wants the cap and there's usually 3+ people sitting in houses camping the flag. It's not necessarily that the perks are better than cartels, but you know when you get the cap, you will keep the turf for 1-3 hours. I think that's a big appeal to people, who aren't filthy rich.

I mostly use electronic music from channels like MrSuicideSheep, Trap Nation and Proximity. It basically just means ads will play on your video (for people without adblock), and you won't be able to monetize the video.

Looks good, although I think the orange colors are a little too bright on the black background. Maybe I'm just a vampire that enjoys the dark! I made some more changes to the extension to fix some missing css, and remove some not needed permissions from the app. Chrome should automatically update the extension within a couple of hours for anyone using it (or you can reinstall if you don't want to wait).

This only took around 3 hours of work. Cartels require much more effort (depending on who you fight)!

I haven't seen any videos of nickis besides the one at north rebel. I didn't bother showing any admins the video, because usually it takes 10+ videos and multiple sources for someone to get banned for cheating. Just think about how much evidence was gathered for aidzo and king. I think (and hope) the admins have a lot more evidence on nickis than just that NR video. However, I will say my faith in some admins making the right call for cheaters is very lacking. After seeing how they handled the weeaboo situation, I lost a lot of respect for them. Perma banned for lagswitching ingame and on teamspeak with no chance to appeal to show his own POV. Told he can die in a fire by a head admin. Just really unprofessional behaviour that I never expected from guys like Bamf and Motown.

Not sure why you still give me all the credit for getting you banned. I literally did nothing, but whine to you in sidechat when you killed me in NR. I showed the video to maybe two other guys and it spread naturally from there to the admins, because it was so sketchy. Kingidentities however, I will take some credit for. It took 3 months, countless videos and many meetings with Motown to finally get rid of him. Probably..
