AK-12 will always be superior to the MK1. 
AK-12 has a 30 round mag and has a penetration value of 9, while the MK1 has a penetration value of 10 with only 20 round mags. 
 

I was thinking shotguns may be a bit over powered in asylums type of combat but it would still be nice to use them. My suggestion is a mini game, a bit like laser tag, clay pigeon shooting where you can use the shotgun, a possible money prize or betting format could be implemented. Just something I was thinking off. What do you guys think? Can the shotgun just be added as a weapon you can buy?
