Hmm lets see here, your rp was probably, "oh i have an unlawful detainment because i was helping my friend bounty hunt" probably not even 5 min after kidnapping a cop. Your a cop, you should know what a relayed witness is, and you should know youre not going to get leniency if you kidnap a cop and lie about the whole rp situation when we KNOW what you did. Try to come up with a good story as to why you had to kidnap a cop, not just lie and say it didnt happen.. Personally i expect like a minute story per 5k of charges, if you have a couple counts of kidnapping, dont expect to get a half with a story that lasts 30 sec. Its getting really fucking annoying having to go on cop and hear "wow robocop fuck off you piece of shit" and "im reporting you youre getting points" followed by 5 min of Screaming that someone isnt following procedure and theyre getting reported. Pro tip: if you want to be salty that you were caught doing something and want to be a dick to the cop telling him hes getting reported, its not gonna end well for you, ill just give you a full ticket to be a dick back and ill add charges that i may not have added if you had just rpd. I dont know how many times ive been told that and not once have i gotten points for it. so next time you are thinking about making this stupid ass post because youre salty, just report it to IA because no one gives a fuck if you think youre being robocopped.

Honestly I think part of the problem is cops dont take kidnappings seriously when a civ gets kidnapped, so the only option civs have is to kidnap cops if they want anything out of it.

I think at the moment, bounty hunters are not implemented like they should be. I suggest either bounty hunters wont get bounties of someone until 5 min after they go above a $2500 bounty, or increase the bounty min from $2500 to 10k. At the moment, kavala is just full of bounty hunters who turn in people with 3 hit and runs for that extra honor, and sometimes theres not always a cop there to turn yourself in to. 5 min would be plenty of time to leave a city and go to another one to find a cop and it will make it less frustrating.

Completely off topic, but can we add a straight to jail charge for people threatening points to a cop every single time they get caught doing something. Its pretty clear people do it to try to get out of charges and its to the point where it just ruins RP. If you have a problem with a cop, just report them on the forums, dont go yelling "your gonna get points if you charge me/give me a ticket". Threatening points doesnt do any good, it just pisses everyone off.

Im a bit torn on this tbh. On one hand, it will lead to less trolling in general, on the other, this now means kidnapping a cop while a bounty hunter is instantly a $22,500+removal of license ($6500 to get a new one)+ removal of weapon (over 1k). so basically, if you want to kidnap a cop, you are risking almost $30000 in gear and tickets. I guess if cops ACTUALLY roleplay while being kidnapped and give their gear up to make it somewhat worth it, it would be ok, but i dont see that happening.
