I agree that Sandwich really gives it his all when it comes to the APD. The guy is a great officer and really knows his stuff (why I recommended him); however, I do believe he has a bit to work on when it comes to leadership but I think training officer will help him a lot with that.

    Officer Name: Sandwich
    Officer Rank: Constable
    Pct: -
Description: (Feel free to add videos if you have them)
Officer Sandwich has great roleplay even while being kidnapped. We tried kidnapping him and he was bugged so we were unable to escort him. He told us he would 'take a nap and come back so we could continue'.
He also seems to handle his lower ranking officers with respect and civility. While going undercover I decided to take a mock-ridealong with him to see his teaching style. Even with me purposefully trying to fluster him he stayed cool under pressure. He has a very adept knowledge of the guidebook, as is demonstrated in his teaching methods during the mock-ridealong.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Maybe YOU dont. I would hold back on the "we" part because that has most certainly been the case forever now.

Anyone as a SGT/Corp whatever should not be saddled with the responsibility of going out of their way to make sure they come in contact with higher ups. That's not their responsibility. The only requirement they should have to fulfill is stating their want/intent to move up. Its the ones doing the promotions that should be required to do the seeking out, the reviews, or catching up with people. I have NEVER in my life in any aspect of anything made myself a nuisance or sucked up for something. If I do what Im supposed to do and I do it well, THEY should notice. This backward ass expectation that it isnt the higher ups job to notice unless you suckle/flick the teet is crazy.   This is exactly what makes it look like people only get promoted for being friends or kneepadding.
Subaru was a cunt about most things, he said the same words to me as he promoted everyone in his gang to LT 🙂

I feel that. I retired from SGT because I had the Chief of Police at the time tell me he would never let me get LT. When I showed Captains the message nothing was ever done.

Bruh I couldn't get Corporal for like 4 months with like 60+ hours a month because 1 higher up didn't like me
    Make it easier
No issue with more than 1 person being able to pull a van for a prison heaven forbid you guys didn't get your undercover slot

TL;DR  I think we should allow Constables to advanced to Corporal in a less subjective manner much like we do for Cadets progressing to Constable.
Hey everyone, I was recently playing on the server after quite a lengthy break and noticed a few things that I wanted to get your all's opinion on. I noticed the server population is pretty significantly decreased and while I don't inherently consider this to be a bad thing I think it should come with some changes to the way the game is played.
A big thing I have been preaching recently is that the APD is kind of the conduit for RP on the server. We enable most of the civilians to engage in RP and engage in crime with a variable amount of risk. While I think this is true, I don't think it should come unrewarded. With the decrease in population I think it would serve as a pretty awesome incentive to the APD if we had a concrete path to Corporal the same way we have a path to Constable.
This could be something like 6 months as an active Constable and a written or verbal quiz to ensure they have a more than fundamental grasp of APD policies and procedures. This would serve as not only a incentive for people to play actively and have a path to advancement but also serve as another thing for Sergeants to take on while we are low on activity for them.
Thanks everyone! Would love to hear your opinions on this matter.

*cough* You forget about SWAT or individuals that are trying to clear a situation and would not be within range to receive compensation if they continued to clear the situation *cough*

    Officer Name: @Ron Johnson
    Officer Rank: Constable
Pct: None because Constable, but we all know it's 4!
Description: Goes above and beyond the call of duty in training the cadets. If they have questions he's usually the first one with an answer.  Can be found taking lead at bank and fed, or in kavala dishing out the justice. Unparalleled RP, always fun to play cop with because he can make anything interesting!

  21. Ron Johnson liked a post in a topic by Cynica in How to Earn Money in Asylum
Cocaine is a terrible way to start as a beginner for a few reasons:
    1. The risk is much too high for the reward in the early game. If you lose the flatbed, hatchback, quad bike, e.t.c. you also lose your main means of transportation.
    2. You will more than likely either get robbed, killed, or arrested during any engagement if one is presented and more often than not this will happen.
    3. There is a good chance if you are new you do not have a means to protect yourself.
To take from this always remember as a beginner that before advancing to a new way of making money you have double the resources needed (money, vehicles, guns, etc) to run that resources.
