That can definitely happen. If you were looking to come back / keep playing, it's a good time right now. There's an event going on and there's a fish (well, octopus) that sell for 500k each to any vendor. 20mil+ every night from AFK fishing

As of right now, if you aren't grinding, go here to the Waterpark, grab a Balenos Fishing Rod, make sure you're in the safe zone, and get to AFK fishing. You can fish up an Octopus worth 500k each. Sell for silver, trade level / connecting nodes does not matter. I fished up 19.5mil the other night, 23mil last night.

I've been saying recently that it won't be the devs / community / lack of REBEL updates that will kill the server, but it will be the APD. I feel they have become a bit too oppressive and quick to lethal / robo-cop. As much as I interact with the APD as a wanted civ, it's quiet as a funeral in the car ride to HQ, and then it's a constable reading off a copy-pasta on his 2nd monitor to deal with me. At the same time though, the best way to avoid having to wipe them 23 times over is to move, kill majority / all of them, move again. Cops will give up eventually. As far as I'm aware, the developers here on Asylum (Bamf / Gnashes) have nothing to do with Identity. That is Paratus' baby. Also, I do not believe admins have access to changing the mission file for the server. Hard to throw an event when it almost guarantees the server will crash. I remember the days of clean admin events, but now when I see one get popped, I hesitate because it means the server will likely go down. Perhaps you need to take a look at this thread though

Recent update: Every 30 days, inactive players (those who did not log in the for month beforehand) will lose their houses.Also, if you took that long off, even before this update, houses (as in ownership) were deleted every 2-3 months. Final edit:

I can't possibly imagine why. Based off this thread and other posts of yours, going to assume you argued with them and told them how your RP is the greatest and how they're all robocops. But that's just my guess.

@killer11 If people can't come up with a good story, that's on them. If someone's god awful at telling a story, TELL THE TRUTH. I can't tell you how many times I've been caught at Coke / Meth / Feds / Banks, whatever, and literally just came clean and it helped my ticket. "Man, I was just trying to make a quick buck you know. I got robbed trying to excavate (one small lie) and decided I wanted to try and sneak in a coke run. I shot at you guys because I got spooked." "You know, I woke up feeling pretty good today, gang's been on a roll at cartels and whatnot, so we wanted to try our luck at the Bank. And you know, when the gang leader(s) say we're doin something, I gotta roll with it; just like you guys do when one of ya get kidnapped or call for backup. I gotta be there for my gangmates." It's laughably easy to RP.

Cops have been getting updates / "buffs" continuously. Raiding Cartels, Prowlers, added Construction to bank, LT+ more than just MK1 for undercover, increased payout to 175k, bodybags for people who CL. Vigilantes had 7.0 - It was massive. Access to the MX, Skiptracer, Hunter's, and the BH talent tree. A Rebel Talent Tree has been promised for I don't even know how long now. Slight tweaks to banks / feds / PBs are nice, but they're not something new.

I enjoyed hearing you ruffle your Dorito's bag for the first 10 seconds.
