I remember the first time I played on this, I was robbing a gas station in Kavala when a police helicopter landed and they downed me and arrested me. From that day on, I loved playing on asylum. I got to meet some very nice people and make lots of friends. But things come to an end sooner or later. Sadly that time has come for me at asylum. I might play and mess around in Kavala every now and then but I want to thank the following people if I did not list you here let me know so I can add you.
@Dredd   -You are the best man, ill miss ya. You where the best and it was fun playing on cop with you, also thank you for dealing with me when I am on civ and being very cancerous. 
@Sandwich - Thanks for helping me sort things out, and taking the time to help, your a nice guy and love the streams ❤️

I don't think Asylum has four individual boxes running these servers but rather a max of two with unique IPs assigned to each server instance. So if that's the case and say they have two boxes, there would e no point in shutting any of these servers down for them because they don't save any money. Plus they have to deal with the headache of compensating hundreds of people which they probably don't want to do either. In addition, many will quit once they lose their homes so you will eventually end up at the same place with server 1 full and the rest barely cracking 30-40.
There are a few reasons Asylum looks more dead than usual:
1. It's an old game, people are tired of it (including me)
2. PUBG (my current favorite game)
3. Asylum median age is a whopping 16 years old or maybe less so all the kiddies are back in classes with mommy and daddy putting restrictions on gaming (as they should).
4. Paratus is gone for good. He wants to get Identitys town square out asap and he has no time for Asylum, especially with BIS screwing Asylum every chance they get with monetization. Why should he waste his time on a toxic community like this one along with a hostile BIS when he can focus on his own game? I sure as hell wouldn't.
5. @Gnashes is an an accountant by trade who works like every other adult that has to support themselves. So if he's barely around and still learning the nuances of that god awful SQF and @bamf has remedial knowledge of it, who's going to bring out all the new content at a rapid pace like before? Nobody.
Those that enjoy Asylum for what it is will keep playing here and there until like all things it finally ends. No amount of posts pleading for this and that will change things and even if they deliver with lower cost gear etc the servers at best will peak for a few days then die again.

Even if they did reduce it to 2 or 3 servers, as of right now Asylum can't handle anything more then 75ish people on the server before it gets super laggy, mass kicks, or just fuckin crashes. The biggest reason that Asylum is dead comparatively speaking to its past is mostly because of the extremely poor server performance.
Furthermore, decreasing the server count is a great way to get a shit load of people on 2 servers, have it take a shit on everyone then we have 2 dead servers instead of 4.

On Precinct 2 there have been a large number of incidents since the latest BH changes where the APD is specifically being targeted on a more than regular basis. Most of this activity is possibly due to the removal of the buddy system requirements, but keep in mind not every case involves an lone Officer. Mostly it has come down to being outnumbered.
These guys are rolling around in numbers with the same gear and vehicles as the Police Force.  It is becoming routine that if you have detained an individual, not only do you have to deal with his friends trying to get him free but you have to deal with the BH's trying to nab him from you as well. This usually has turned into losing the detained individual and the kidnapping of officers. Which in turn has caused the HVT process to be utilized more often than usual resulting in a degradation of the role-play experience.
A statement was made to me two days ago that it is not the APD's right to process criminals on Altis - in fact the individual role-played spitting in my face - with high ranking off-duty cops present. Which brings up my next point; so far, in my experience the Bounty Hunters who have been interfering with processing wanted individuals are off-duty cops.  Most are vulgar, harassing, and display textbook displeasure for the APD with impunity through direct chat and the 911 system. A few have admitted to me that Bounty Hunting is more entertaining than Policing because it's more lucrative and doesn't require any role-play or strict adherence to procedures. And also, I've received complaints regarding constables removing BH licenses with very little regard to the facts causing some groups to strike back. Basically, a BH vs Cop mini-war.
It is because of this that I have been feeling more attention is needed towards the risk of losing the Bounty Hunter license. 
Should the cost of the Bounty Hunter license be higher? Should revoked Bounty Hunter licenses be tracked in the criminal activity function in vehicles? Should the police be able to seize Hunter vehicles when used improperly? Should there be a cool-down requirement when a Bounty Hunter has his license revoked before they can purchase another one? Should the revocation of the license and equipment be limited to Corporal+? And lastly, what is the best course of action (if any) to take with an off-duty officer who is crossing the line as a whitelisted member of the APD? Keep in mind that I've witnessed these incidents with Sergeants and higher in the same group off-duty.

I'm a salty p2 pleb, who sits in my moms basement and play videogames all day. The highlight of my day is when someones say "fuck you stupid cunt" or "kys danish cocksucker", but lately something has been missing from all that is my life at this point..
Reliance died not to long ago when school started, and let's all just be happy about that, but Reliance is not what i'm missing man... it's Dredd.
Today i wondered: "Why is there no drone flying around me, and how come all the kavala cops are so out of shape. Where is my 50% ticket increase and higherup requests being denied? ", and it turned out, Dredd left us.. I just woke up in my sticky semen covered blankets with a tear in my eye, i miss him man, i miss @Dredd. 
Let us have him back man, he's the only lieutenant who can ever survive the aids that is p2. 
Post me all your memories and dank memes about our fallen and beloved robocop, make Subaru realize then when he passes away, the only person who could ever carry the torch is Dredd.
