Straight to Jail

Im asking this question here because there's a lot of confusion in the APD about this.

Lets say im a Rebel and am carying a Vermin with Lethals. While in Sofia, i spot 2 cops and engage with them. I manage to kill 1 and get downed by the other.

Lets leave all other charges out of this... After this situation, do I get charged with abuse of a bounty hunter weapon and get sent straight to jail

I have asked many members of the APD (sgts) and they all said that ''no it is not abuse". But a large number of cops who just play cop for the money (come on s5) seem to just stack that on + illegal weapon. Which one is it? Either i am allowed to Carry the weapon but abused of it or im not allowed to carry bc i dont have the license.

Good question. 

I would have to say it depends on how the weapon was used. If it was used in an attempt to down police officers, it would be an abuse of a bounty hunters license/weapon and illegal weapon IF you didn't have the BH license. If it was used in attempt to murder an officer, it would be attempted manslaughter + illegal weapon.

As i said before, I have lethals loaded (i killed one cop)

if you were to down me then yes id be more apt to send you straight to jail but really if you dont have the license im not going to send you straight off but will give you possession of an illegal weapon as well as attempted if you are to shoot at me but not kill me.

The vermin is indeed a bounty hunter weapon, but it is also still an illegal firearm. If you have a vermin with lethal mags, you will not be sent straight to jail. If you were using downing rounds then yes you would, and the other time you would be sent straight to jail using lethal rounds is only if you have a bounty hunter license at that time.

If you have the license and abuse it, you will be sent straight to jail. Where as if you do not have the license you should be charged with Illegal firearm and just ticketed/ processed as normal

No way does it state you need a license for it though and it turns into a illegal weapon without it, says ABUSE OF THE WEAPON don't spin it to what you want it to be but stick to its wording fam.

The Weapon is Illegal for Civilian *BUT* if you have a bounty hunter license it is considered Legal.

Using the Vermin with Lethal isnt considered Bounty Hunter abuse

Using The Vermin With Downing Rounds is considered Bounty Hunter abuse just because of the tracers

The PO7, Sting or any bounty hunter weapon doesn't state that you need a license to carry, but here we are.

The charge says using bounty hunter weapons to down non-wanted players. So, at least from my logic, if you have lethals you did not down someone using a bounty hunter weapon therefor did not abuse it. Vermins can be made at the Firearm factory so it's not like you NEED to be a bounty hunter to get this weapon. Not 100% sure that is just how I see it.

Pretty much sums it up. Based on the guide book, lethals? you're good for processing. Downing rounds?

Its only abuse of a bounty hunter weapon if youre downing people with it. If you load lethal mags it dosent count.

The abuse of the bounty hunting license is mostly due to the downing rounds. You need to have a bounty hunter license, or someone you know, therefore it is abuse of such license BECAUSE OF THE DOWNING ROUNDS. Remember everyone can go and craft vermins at the firearms factory, which is completely legal, and then go and buy lethals on turfs or rebel. So kill cops with it and you can be processed, down cops with it, be a bounty hunter or not, go straight to jail. Its simple fam.
