Gang Expiration

If no member of a gang logs into the server for a month, the gang is disbanded and any money in the gang account goes into the account of the gang leader.

Basically the way house expirations works, but for gangs.

We pride ourselves on providing a game that you can walk away from/come back to at any point and be essentially right where you were.
The only time we take things from you is when it specifically prevents another player from enjoying the game (Aka sitting on a limited house forever).

Wiping ppls gang perks/stealing their "Clout" on a name because they haven't logged in for awhile seems pretty pointless.

I assume you are just after a gang name. If a gang is holding a name you want and they verifiably haven't logged in for a long time you can ask for it in the support requests. Each request is handled based on a number of factors. IE Some random takes a name and hasnt logged in for 3 years? Sure you can have it. An ex gang wars winner/other prominent gang from early asylum stops playing for a bit. No you are never getting their name.
