Why are servers so laggy now?

Bored of dying at cartels to shotguns.

Sat inside buybox at rebel and dropped dead before I heard a shot.

This is ridiculous.

Here's a gif of me dying in the buy box at rebel.

1) I didn't even move. On my screen I never even saw him approach the buy box. There was no reaction from me whatsoever because he never came near me.

2) I didn't hear a single shot.

3) It takes me over a second to die.

I'm 100% sure it's not my connection.

was me that killed him m8 u can see the lag from the server beacuse his gun drops

What's annoying is that je Insantly Died, as if server is fine, but on his screen you don't even move fluidly. I noticed that sometimes a car of cops will freeze, while a quadbike will be moving fine.

Today server 4, I was killed when apparently peaking a window, but on my screen I was already in my car driving back to HQ, around 300-400 meters from my apparent window peak, to restock my mags.

The end.

I honestly think the server lag is either the new animal AI or strangely enough the Yellow tint (which i happen to like but we can't have nice things)

Lets see how this helps with frame lag.  Next maybe they revert the codec

I play daily and have had zero issues until today. Been laggy and desync'y like crazy.

I was able to do a scotch run today, I felt privileged as I know others are not so lucky as their vehicles take 5 minutes to spawn.

Lol, i've just been playing Rust lately hoping the server lag will fix soon until then not playing much as before...

I've had improved game play experience with zero frame lag on server 2 (while full) since the new patch went live.
