I don't think you'll be living in the same room all your life, but I would get a custom built desk or build it myself. Most prebuilt stuff is cheep. Mayhem likes this Link to comment
BananaGoatPC
This is what I have I think its the perfect size the link I sent is where you can get it. The desk itself can be raised and lowered with a tool that comes with it. you can also purchase the same desk with a motorized lift if you prefer to do that, however, its a bit more expensive last time I checked. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S69006392/#/S29006394 (link to Ikea) Edited July 8, 2018 by BananaGoatPC massi, xlOutsiderlx, Twinkie and 2 others like this Link to comment

Mayhem
Make sure you build the desk more stable than the servers. Don’t want it crashing on you Rosie likes this Link to comment

KIIAK
@Tricks Honestly just build your own its the best thing I ever did I drew up some plans then went to home depot bought some wood and an orbital sander, cut the wood and sanded it and it was fucking perfect big L shaped desk in the corner of the computer room it was easy took me like 4 hours. When I finished I thought it needed some more pizazz so I added a Red Oak Stain on it cost me in total about 100$ Below is some of the shit I bought and just FYI that quart of stain goes a long way I got my whole desk done with about 50% of the can used https://www.homedepot.com/p/Varathane-1-qt-Red-Oak-Classic-Wood-Interior-Stain-339704/305502006 https://www.homedepot.com/p/BLACK-DECKER-5-in-Random-Orbital-Sander-Disc-BDERO100/205545919 Anyway if you choose to build a desk send me the final product Link to comment

wollie35
I grabbed my parents old dinner table, gave it a good scrub made it clean drilled a hole for the cables and it serves me perfectly. Took me like 2 hours to got rid of all the splinters and make it nice and smooth but didn't pay a single euro. Also if ur gonna make a hole for the cables don't do what I did. I ended up putting my pc on the right while having the hole on the left. At least it serves as a pencil cup now Link to comment
Gatorade
I wish I knew what kind of desk I have its a giant mahogony desk that is made for two people. It separates each side of a desk by a T shape that comes out in the middle to divide them. I have my monitors and PC set up in front of me with my work laptop on my side (The middle part). I swear I got it from Jordans a few years ago for maybe like 3 grand Link to comment

Fixing a desk isn't very hard too. Just make sure what height u want before u get 1 to work on Link to comment
