I for one like this idea, in my opinion it takes more skill anyways to play BR. Not only do you kinda depend on luck you have to be good with whatever you get.

I think that for a long time the turfs have been the same old lame turfs. I think it would be cool to spice them up. I brought up an idea last night that all my friends agreed that i should at least suggest it to get feedback. I was thinking that why not turn turfs into areas that the gang controls ENTIRELY. This means you would rebel against the Altis Government and make your own little town. You could have your own rules. ( Nothing to drastic ). For example you could have shops there that people could use but your turf would have its own tax to anyone who bought stuff. This means that turfs could get a lot of shops. Like DMV, Truck Shop, Gun Store, etc. And maybe there could be a new skill tree that had turf stuff in it. Like some talents would be ability to change taxes in your turf, what shops could be set up there. Could allow anyone to spawn there but it would cost them money. Ability to have few set rules. Etc etc. Pretty much you run your own town. BUT theirs a catch. The cops can come raid your town anytime they want to. They would try and reform the town back to the states government. This means that there would be more interaction between cops and rebels. ( Honestly besides Prison, Bank, Federal Reserve, and sometimes Hostage situations theres not that many. ) Cops would need a reason to raid your town, because if your just raising taxes and not trying to break away from the government your fine, but lets say you change some laws, for example selling drugs is legal in your town. The cops would then have a reason to come and take back the town. If they were successful in taking the town then the turf would belong to the Altis Government until it became available again. If they were unsuccessful they would not be allowed to raid that town for a whole restart or something. You could still only use the turf weapon shops and clothing if you were apart of the gang that owned it. But just another cool example would be that the current governor may have 20% taxes, and you go to a turf and they could have 0% taxes and you could buy stuff there avoiding the high prices. There's a lot more to be said but i think this is roughly a good idea to start with. I know already how bad the server lags and this will just make it lag more. But maybe that will get kinked out and this could have a chance of being put in. Also another thing is that there would be a turf app on everyone's phone so they could check the laws of the 3 turfs. The cops would have to get it all sorted out on how it would work but i would think maybe Sgt+ or Corporal could conduct a raid on the town.
