Welcome to Asylum?

Hey guys, I've been playing Altis life on asylum for a decent amount of time now, but have never wandered to the forums. Well now I managed to crawl my way over and wanted to give a big hello to everyone! My name is Andrew and I'm a 20yr old college student, who loves to just chill, smoke weed and game, go the gym with my girl, and listen to music. Currently it's 15 minutes once you capture the area, and I've gotten complaints that it is too short to do things like craft guns, drugs, etc once you capture it.  You should have to defend the point even while your gang crafts, but should we bump this up a touch?

For today’s news we’re announcing that this is the 1st year anniversary since Plague was wrongfully banned.
It is also Marco’s first year of LT

This patch is mostly civilian focused as it relates primarily to the Laws of War DLC for Arma 3 - which is mainly "civilian" in nature.  There are a few other things in here as well though.  
First, we are revamping the donor ranking system with this patch.  Level 5 donors will become level 7 donors with this patch.  Between level 4 and what used to be level 5 we are now adding levels 5 and 6.  See the donation rewards page here for more information.  All of the new in game perks are cosmetics (and mostly new vehicle skins for the DLC vans).  Some of them are down at the lower levels as well - not just in the new tiers.  I'll make another post in the announcements section related to the donation changes later, but it was worth mentioning here.  
Now for the actual patch notes:  
@Gen. Henry Arnold has become a full Contributor now, and he has been popping out skins like crazy.  You may have seen them in various threads on the forums recently, but if not I think you'll like seeing them in game.  These van skins are now available in game:  
Rusted Van Deranged Candy Man A Team News Van Short Bus Mystery Van Paddy Wagon (for APD members of Corporal or higher rank.  This is a non donor item) He also added a News Chopper skin that is great as well.  In addition, he created some signs for all the in town shops.  I think he's doing a great job, and we really appreciate his contributions!
Also, we added a "Nice Job Man" shirt from @TNT.  Thanks for that too!
This patch also includes loads of clothing and other items from the Laws of War DLC.  Please remember that in order to drive the vans, you will need to OWN the DLC.  That's not something we are restricting, but instead something on Bohemia's side.  
Additional items in the patch:  
Cash from your exchange mailbox will now be automatically claimed and added to your account when you join a server. No more going to Pyrgos for comps! Your money will no longer be tainted after depositing all of your drug money Money from drug sales that you transfer to another player will cause their money to become tainted with drugs Gang members can no longer destroy the crates in the gang house. Only the gang leader can. Exploit prevention for flipping vehicles More weaponry is available to be crafted without the Arms Cartel! 7.62 users rejoice! A Ship laden with Mk200's has wrecked off of the coast of Altis. Rebel suppliers have been seen flocking to the wreck site. There may be one or two things I'm missing, but I think that's the bulk of it.  I'll be updating donor ranks in the database while we push out the patch.  Again thanks to @Gen. Henry Arnold for all the skins for this patch!

I wasn't angry that Olio got community manager over me, because i wasn't even in the running, i never wanted the role at the time. In fact, I remained an admin the entire time up until March of this year, when i decided to step away for a bit, which turned out to be for about 3 or so months. When I returned, yes, i did express interest in the ARC role to Bamf, but that was not the sole reason for me coming back. But continue, prove how much more you "know". lol

Well damn right I am not reporting the servers are so low most of the time and I dont care if there is a RDM'r or few its actually more interesting that way fighting the unexpected. But most the time you can tell who is going to RDM and such haha by there names and character skin

Well it's still taxed by the governor, it's just not going to be extra since no one would craft them at the moment (given the buffs to meth pricing).

We need donor titles for rank 7 and cool color names! Give me a title called Baller and make my name purple or somthing haha!

As you may have noticed, we have updated the donor system to include 2 additional ranks, as well as modifying one existing rank.  Donor ranks are now 1-7 (instead of 1-5).  The ranks are as follows:  
$10 $25 $50 $100 $150 $200 $250+ With the addition of the new ranks we have also added a lot of new in game skins that can be purchased and used, and have more to come as well.  Further, the ranks now come with some out of game perks on the forums.  Right now those just increase the number of "likes" you can use on the forums, but we may add additional out of game perks as well.  
You can see all the items you can acquire by donating to the servers here.  Remember, your donations are what keep the servers running.  
Everyone should have had their donor ranks updated to reflect the new level this week, so if yours does not match please let us know.  We have also enabled the forum perks now as well.  The forum perks will be updated every hour and may not be reflected immediately upon your donation.
