Clips of GTA life end up viral on tiktok and I don't see a reason why that wouldn't happen for Altis Life. Asylum in particular blew up when a wave of youtubers and streamers took interest in Altis life

The problem with wiping the server is that once everyone makes their money Asylum will be mostly the same, even with economy nerfs. There isn't a whole lot of new players coming in behind the old ones who are going to grind money too and some of you will endlessly make their experience on Asylum terrible and they will go play something else lol

Still neutral to the idea but the idea of grinding again does sound really boring after logging on. Maybe wiping all the excess money and letting people keep a mil if they have that + house upkeep could be a good middle ground

The real question

If this is a success and wiping the server seems like a good idea then I'd also include house upkeep so houses aren't hoarded in the same way that they will be days into a wipe

What about talent points? Tbh I rather those not be wiped due to how fucking annoying they are to get

I'm changing my opinion to indifferent. I think wiping the server will be destructive and could possibly kill the server but I can't deny that Asylum is pretty boring rn. Nobody's fault imo and I don't think new content will make much of a difference

A good chuck of the playerbase will never return and those that stay will be back where they were in a few weeks anyways. Asylum is an already solved game and players know multiple ways to make money. Your big fights at methlab are not returning and nothing is bringing back old Asylum
