I like this idea but I think instead of just strictly bank notes it could also drop PC parts from the destroyed PC's in order to start the National HQ event. Those are rarely done because of the parts you need and this could be a cool way to get them.

Im curious to see what you guys would have to say for something like this to be created. Im always down to hear out some other people opinions.

    Illegal Bank Transfers
A helicopter that was being sent to the bank of Altis was shot down over Arms Island. This helicopter was transferring new computers for the Bank to allow civs to easily withdraw and deposit money. Fortunately the computer system that was in the helicopter survived but glitched and is now allowing civilians to go to the computer system and start an illegal bank transfer. Since these computers were going to the bank but were shot down, there is a chance that you may be able to find computer parts for the national robbery, inside the wreckage when finishing the event.
Starting the illegal bank transfer will start a timer to be discussed by devs, and when the timer is up will allow civs to gather the bank notes that drop from this event. How much money is spit out when doing this event can depend on server population, or anything else that could depend on this. Civilians will be able to go to this area and fight another civilian that is trying to do the illegal bank transfer, APD will not be allowed to contest this.

    How to start:
The only materials you will need to start this event is going to be a Trojan Virus USB, you will go to the computer at the back of the wreckage, seen in the 4th screenshot, and insert that into the computer. A timer will start and you will have to defend the area from other rebels. After the timer ends bank notes and possibly computer parts will spawn and you're able to take those and break the notes into cash.

Keep in mind that Id like to keep this as simple as possible so theres less dev work that is needed but adds something fun for civs to do. Im always down to make this area, if you guys have anywhere in specific that this event could be located let me know and i can work on making it. Any thoughts or ideas to add onto this would also be appreciated!

No. The self adrenaline shot is basically this just before the restraints come. Don’t need 2 ways of getting out of restraints

It is a skill issue tho. I consistently play civ and win events even if cops have mks and Frits. The players are so much better now than they were in 2015-2018 when u used to play. U just have to adapt

I think this would be a great change. I will add it to my notes and talk with the other senior staff and see what they think.

I’ve always had inconsistency issues with name tags on asylum. I’m sure this has been brought up many times and I’m unsure if there is a fix. But with the addition the fitz to the team he seems to be the Swiss Army knife of the dev team. I was just wondering if it would be possible to overhaul the entire nametag system for consistency’s sake. For example in smokes there will be people dead infront of me and I can’t see them or their name but from their pov they have seen me from miles away. Also it could help with issues with the ~ key aswell to see names from a distance. I’m sure it isn’t as easy as changing a few lines of code or whatever must be done but I think it could definitely be useful for all parties.

Fed events are either done by a group that heavily outnumbers the cops where in order for the cops to win they need to pull multiple pieces of armor and even then have a hard time winning because they go against 10+ people with better gear and explosives. But there is also the other side of the spectrum where a small group or gang tries to do a fed event and they get slammed due to the fact that the cops have the ability to pull as much armor as they want.  I think the real discussion needs to be about when the police are allowed to use certain things. The thing that needs to change is APD policy and a bit of development.
I also know people will call me a career cop because they dont use their brain but as someone who prefers to play civ and just enjoys cop to fight fed events it is much more common to lose fed events as a cop if the numbers are even or you are outnumbered. the only time I see people crying is when they try to rob the bank with 3-4 people against 7-8 cops. It is gonna be hard to win that and you arent meant to win that. fed events are meant to be robbed my a semi-large group not a handful of people against a decent group of cops that are REQUIRED to go to the event.

Development Suggestion: When a fed event is started have a message (like the swat one) that tells the APD how many people are in the group that started the event
APD Policy Change: Have a ratio of officers required to go if the group of people is smaller Ex: 4 Robbers 4 Cops are required to go with a Max of 6. (Could be called the +2 rule) Higherups get first dibs to who goes (This means that if a corporal wants to go and so do constables the corporal gets to go) and this will also incentivize wanting to get promoted in the APD. This ratio can be applied to just smaller fed events to start to see how it fits in (Gas marts, Banks, Jewelry, Shipping, whatever the higherups and devs see as balanced)
Server Rule change: Starting a fed event and then adding more people to your group after can be punishable UNLESS you notify the APD with a 911 text of x amount of people have been added to the group.

(I hope you guys can cooperate with the devs and SA’s if u guys see this as a good addition)

What if it were similar to the cartel, but with a smaller circle surrounding the flag. That way people can still fight, and move around while capturing it, while at the same time still being stuck in that small area to still have the risk of capturing it.

edit: didn't see the other guy posted somethings similar, how silly of Mr yao.

U just quoted my sentence and didn’t put the +2. This is for low tier fed events and if the cops outnumber the civs 6 to 4 and still lose it’s okay…. Its okay to lose fed events and that’s also what civs need to realize is it’s okay to lose fed events.

Cool. If the group doing the fed is 10+ every cop will be required to go. It’s a ratio not a set number….. with some polishing and tweaking it would be balanced

We fight each other all the time…. Most of the time crimson will have 1 or 2 players on cop anyway just because we are mostly all apd officers

The biggest issue I can see is the balance. I know this post is about increasing the chop price but I doubt thatll change a thing. I think the real discussion needs to be about when the police are allowed to use certain things. The thing that needs to change is APD policy not development.

Honestly the biggest issue is the time length it takes to cap the flag and the fact u can’t move while you do it. It just takes 1 dude hiding like a bitch to kill you while ur a sitting duck for 30secs-1min

I think the point is to not incentivize chopping police armor as they use it more often than civs
