  1. Too many APD officers are breaking rules while on civ and not being held accountable on the apd for their actions. We're held to a higher standard we're suppose to know the policy and server rules. Any server related bans can and will be used against you if you are a APD member. Thats what it says in the Internal Affairs guidebook.

There should be no excuse or leniency with anyone apart of the apd if policy is being broken. My brother got VDM'd by a apd constable off duty, and than rdm'd. i was there when he told me he was new to the game, and he didn't understand the rules. come to find out it he does understand them. enough so he already is at demotion threshold if I'm not mistaken (His words not mine) there is discord messages of him knowing he was wrong and pleading to not be reported. Guess what? even with how damming the evidence was he didn't get in shit. Instead he was given a warning with no points or ban ? while he already has points on constable, he's been in trouble for the exact same situation. It's just crazy. There should be 0 Tolerance for any APD member breaking rules while on civ. 0.

    Nonsense.

Flipping cars to destroy them or anything aside for getting them unstuck wouldn't be VDM.  It would be an exploit.  If its obvious someone flipped one of your vehicles to destroy it then I would say admins would comp you as long as you have proof.  When it comes to banning you have to be able to prove the person that actually flipped it which could be a bit more difficult.

We got it figured out ! only reason action wasn't taken is because there was literally so much going on in the clip. they thought it was a 3rd party report, it was over turned later on once the admin and i talked. I'll just send those reports threw exploit instead of VDM thanks Destrah.

Its not allowed you can report it and you will get comp and them banned

Unfortunately the staff decided it wasn't VDM lol. i think because he saw him vdming multiple people in my clip he didn't even acknowledge my car being purposefully flipped into the air. and Feel like he took it as a 3rd party report at 1.29 in my clip he is even flipping peoples cars when i log onto the server, than 5 mins later flips my car. @Leady can we get some clarification here maybe a rule update or something  ? What is creditable evidence when it comes to a vehicle being flipped and destroyed ?

Medic isn’t always available and when your at a cartel it’s unlikely you’ll get revived by a medic.

AFD members are prohibited from entering contested cartels. So we can never go there even if you request a medic. Pretty sure the only reason we're not allowed to go there is because CIVS didn't like the impact medics were having on cartel fights. People reviving friends, associates, gang mates, not very fair.

Would be cool if the AFD could make a new policy around cartels, have a 1 life rule and only 2 medics can enter 1 for each gang involved in the cartel.

Man... most of these responses aren't very fruitful.

    A) I barely get RDM'd as I'm mostly on medic. This is a server suggestion, not a 'this personally affects me so i'm bitching' suggestion.

    B) Sure even if it's the admin's job, why not make the system better? This is a new proposition. Forward thinking, not complacent thinking..

    C) It happens outside of Kavala.

    D) Record and report is still the way, the only thing I'm proposing is more eyes on the report section of the forum. How is that a bad thing?

I'm really not sure how my idea can be possibly construed as negative.. most of these responses are complacent thinking..

I believe the main thing is though it's a good idea you can't just have a bunch of people viewing reports who aren't staff members. Could be a lot of bias decisions. I think like you said they would review the report and than send it to staff to confirm ? Regardless if there were people looking at the reports and informing staff the decision to take action would be the staff members lol. so it's like catch 22. You want the reports handled quicker but even if someone looked it over and confirmed it was rdm than sent it to a staff member it could take awhile for them to see it. just like it does now lol. The only real solution would be more staff members and i don't think it's a job many want nor that we really need more of atm. i may be wrong and others may feel different.

If you feel this strong about this you should wait for support to open up and Apply.

  6. I don't think it takes to long. my reports are usually dealt with within the hour or two of being posted. And the support team may not deal with rdms directly, but they do help with giving you information on your case. if i can any question i usually have server related or rule related i just go to support. They can also save you the hassle of putting a report in if you have in-sufficient evidence 👍

I see what you mean. But i feel the only fix to maybe less longer wait times for reports, would be more staff members who are (Volunteers). Atm i believe the staff team is prob swamped with reports due to the COVID-19 Quarantine so prob why you may feel reports are taking longer also.

I hardly play the server unless a bunch of my friends get on here either way. Just funny how Asylum have always said it will be done by X time and it never gets done doesn't matter which devs are on the server.

Simple solution would either be not giving out dates for when things are going to be done or actually notifying people that it's delayed by X amount other than waiting for people to start wondering where the patch is 🙂
