The win condition should be the same for both sides: APD deliver HVT to prison/wherever; Rebels deliver HVT to designated rebel outpost/whereever in order to free them. Agree with Austin on this one. The only thing that will survive a .50 is an MBT. So unless the devs want to give the APD access to a police version of the T140K-Angara... 👀 The only way to balance that side of things is to put a server rules in place that says no sui vests or 50 cals. That's additional work for staff to work through reports, etc. +1 for the idea of a federal event started by cops tho

I really don't see why people get uptight over suggestions, even little QOL ones like this. If it isn't going to negatively impact your experience, then why care so much to fight against it? +1 suggestion.

Why does it have to be another fed where rebels defend and cops attack? It's getting boring. Switch it up. Fed event where cops defend and rebels attack. Example: APD are tasked with protecting a VIP (think government employee / president / prime minister / etc). They need to get them from point A to point B, or the APD have to defend a static location, and the rebels have to kidnap the VIP. Deliver VIP to rebel outpost for a $$$ reward.

Agree about fed events. If a wipe happens, then fed events should be unlocked gradually over time so people can't just spam them day/week 1.

But Billy! He had a bad weekend of APD stuff! He just took out his pent up frustration on an innocent Constable. His apology was 100% genuine, absolutely not part of his agreements with the SAs to get the Captain rank back. It's not as if there's a video going around that captured him, condescendingly, saying that he wouldn't get demoted for what he done! He's very sorry. For real though. He’s not sorry for what he done, he’s sorry that he got caught. If HalfDrunk hadn’t of been streaming and caught it all in 4K, then Greg would still be Captain and HalfDrunk would have two unfair points against his APD app. We all know it. Just more of a reason to record 24/7 on this server.

It's not affecting me to any point or degree. It's just a case of me giving more than one ⭐ option ⭐. A suggestion has a higher chance of actually going somewhere that way. It does, however, clearly affect the people who choose to hide 600-800m in the sky in an Orca. So I'm looking at it from more POVs than just my own / a cop's.

At least 7/10 times when I go looking for the APB, I eventually find out that they're just sitting 600-800m up in the air, in an Orca, avoiding any engagement with the APD. So, it's a pretty pointless feature to have when that happens. So can we remove it entirely or give an ability to Sgt+ / LT+ to drop the APB? Obvious disclaimers: If Sgt+ / LT+ do get the ability to drop the APB, then put a cooldown in place or restrict it to X times per restart.

It's not just a case of decreasing response times on reports. As is always reminded, the admins are volunteers. They won't/shouldn't be bound to SLAs given that they do it off their own backs. However... Olympus has the right idea with their dispute system, and I don't see how that wouldn't benefit Asylum. As the guidelines for reports say, a dispute should always try to be resolved between players before it reaches a report. So why not implement an in-game dispute system that enables that, and would likely reduce player reports by a considerable percentage. So, +1 to the comp before report part. Man, good luck fixing it. Unfortunately, putting players into positions of power is always gonna result in... this. Senior ranks have always, and will always, get away with absolute murder. Everybody else though? 😶 But slotting up as a cop has always been a money-maker. I got whitelisted to cop in 2014, and it was a money-maker back then and still is now. Difference is, the whole server has gone from light RP to no RP, and APD is no different. And yeah, removing inactive cops from whitelist was a rough one. Especially because they don't exactly make it a smooth process to re-onboard former cops. That's something that needs to be considered, because we need the numbers. So why deny people that have the experience just because they don't have a high amount of V2 hours?
