If you're willing to sell for in game currency I'll outbid everyone for S1 & S3.

You first off reply like an intelligent human being. Second you look at what the first post in the recruitment page has to say. Third follow that by obtaining the respect of current members in the way of combat. That can be done in many ways , Bikstok once said that People tend to get invited solely for the fact that they wouldn't want to be shot in the back by them.

You want to fix drugs? You want to fix the larger economy? It seems to me that there are two viable options.
    1) Remove the market system entirely.
It was implemented in order to make people switch up their gameplay and break up the meta of doing one activity all day everyday while all other activities were completely ignored. In this respect the market has worked to some small extent, increasing the number of meta-viable vocations from 1-2 to 2-4. But this meager increase has only served to move people en masse from one activity to the next, rather than ushering different people into different activities simultaneously. Not only has the market failed to have its intended effect on gameplay diversification, it has actually caused problems. Most notably, inconsistency, bugs, frustration, hindrance to group play, and an all around devaluing of players' time and effort.
All of this to say, it has tipped the fun/grind ratio in the wrong direction without really adding value to the gameplay experience. So scrap it.
    2) Positive Scaling
If you are intent on having a market, allow it to function like a real market. Instead of solely penalizing a lack of scarcity, reward scarcity. Allow activities to scale positively when no one is doing them, allow them to scale a lot. Perhaps a 3 tiered system based on risk and legality. So for example if the whole server was running drugs and no one was doing diamonds, eventually diamonds would become so scarce that they were so valuable people would be highly incentivized to make a run. This would go a long way in achieving what the market initially set out to do, it would allow players to speculate on the markets with carefully timed buying and selling, it would assure players are able to make good money at any given time while allowing a variety of gameplay opportunities, and allows the market to reward trying new things, rather than simply penalizing you for having a routine.
Specific amounts would have to be carefully tweaked to keep risk/reward metrics intact, but if it was done right it could go a long way in making the grind less painful.

That's just my opinion of course.

TL;DR: Fix issues by either removing market entirely or adding positive scaling. It's not adding much gameplay value at the moment, scrap it or improve it.
    This idea is @Buckwalter,

    Hotfix 2:
The federal reserve system has been re-enabled (gold bars will spawn again) The Most Prestigious list is now the Most Wealthy.  This goes by money you have stored in the bank.   Drug runner payouts have been tweaked to account for an error in the calculation of the reward.  This will cut both ways, but at least now it will be accurate all the time.   Drug runner missions will now give you slightly more time.   Several group cap bugs have been addressed.

I wanted to give the community an update on the stability issues we have been having lately.  @Paratus and I spent a good deal of time over the weekend looking for culprits that could be causing the issue, and I'm fairly confident we may have finally found the problem.  While I'm not going to talk about the specific feature(s) in question now, I will share graph of the "mass kicks" from the last 5 days:

The arrow points to about 2 hours before we put in the current code base that is running.  As you can see, there have not been any mass kick events since then.
Today we will be reintroducing the federal reserve system with a few other minor quality of life fixes (Most Prestigious list will go to Most Wealthy for instance).  We will slowly reintroduce day/night cycle after a day or so provided the results still look favorable.
Thanks for hanging in there with us!

Agreed and this is coming from a rebel perspective.
The new Bank and PB are so heavy rebel sided that doing them are just plain boring now, it forces cops to always snipe when you have full control. If we have 10 people, we can pretty much use the buildings at the bank that was added as cover for cops to our advantage and it makes it near impossible for cops to even make it past 1st ATM now.
It also looks very clustered and stupid. Looks like someone just decided to close their eyes in the editor and place everything they can anywhere they can.
The PB has no power spots for the cops to take advantage of. SWAT is pretty much useless whereas at the old PB, if SWAT made it onto the island which was very easy for them to do, it was pretty much rip for rebels if the cops played their cards right, same with landing on the building with a Orca. If cops got up there, pretty much rip for rebels. However, the new PB has no power positions, cops literally have no cover to push from, etc.. etc..
Don't forget, any cover you've added for cops to utilise, is getting utilised by the rebels instead making it near impossible for cops to do anyhting.

Both the new prison & bank are so boring to fight, it seems cops feel forced to snipe, all the cover at the bank just doesn't work, it's so clustered, spread it out/remove some of it.

Prison is just flat out badly balanced, swat seems useless, no advantage spots, no cover when pushing deerstands, if the guys doing the PB have a brain they will pick the only cover that cops have (reeds), again, the only cover is clustered together..

    A. We always have 1/2 your numbers so that helps
    B. Your first life you get mk1's and carrier lites just like we do. Aka swat that you guys end up spawning twice with anyways.
    C. Half of us use Rahim and Katiba or sdar , or at least I do.
    D. You guys don't even get past the first building so how can you bitchy about change when the first building remainder the same.
    E. 95% of elysium are cops and when we play we don't lose the bank like you do so something tells me it's you or your team.  Personally I think it's you and your Parkinson disease

  14. Don liked a post in a topic by Killswitch in A Topic Worth Discussing - Money Cap
First off, this was written by @TheRealLethal, and since he is on mod que, he asked me to post this for him. I personally do agree with many of the points but would also like to see what the rest of the community's opinions are...

"Hello, so before i begin, i understand this has been talked about before but i feel as if other posts have not properly identified the Pros and Cons of money cap. So that is what i will attempt to do in this thread.
So before 6.0 you could have as much money in your bank account as possible. The reason this was removed varies depending on which admin/dev you ask. But the main reasons it was removed is, People just bought 50 mil at a time, people were careless with money, and people did not have to make money which led to people just fighting and not playing the game for what its suppose to be.
So with the intro of 6.0 you can only have a mil max (10 mil old money) And this has supposedly solved the problems listed above. I disagree When i was in Innovative i loved grinding meth with people and it was so fun seeing my bank account steadily rise. If you want to check my account I have always been near cap post 6.0, and when i get on i dont feel like playing anymore because i have nowhere to progress. Why should I be punished for playing the game?
So before you type away some typical retort let me stop you. "We have more unique IDs log on than ever before" ok, but let me ask you, is the average players play session longer or shorter than before.
The other main concern "Regiment and Bad blood and Innovative just pulled vest after vest after vest and ifrit after ifrit" That is not a money cap issue, that is a group cap issue. There are no super gangs. also there is no more insurance. Insurance was a huge reason people just went balls deep with vehicles.
I think i speak for alot of people when i say i would play more if i had something to work for and for me back in the day, i tried my ass off to get on the rich list, and when i finally did it was awesome. People dont do anything anymore, everyone hits cap and logs off.
Think about it, more people grinding money, more people trying to rob those people grinding money, better server health.
I understand its a soft cap with the introduction of turning prestige into money, but the tax is not good. I have no reason to go past 1 mil prestige. I understand you guys are scared to have the aids fest that we had pre 6.0, but without insurance and with group cap, you will not have the same shit as before.
Please dont just say "working as intended, locked" can we have a serious discussion about this. Although i may not be able to reply straight away since im on mod que, ill do my best."
