Why do people cheat in armed assault 3

The excuse that I usually hear is "oh I'm bored of the game and wanted to leave" but then those same people end up ban evading and coming back to the game? Or it's to fuel their ego on a 11 year old milsim shooter. What excuses have you guys heard?

I don't know any cheaters but i believe they simply want to "win". It could be that they are tired of losing, or that someone struck their ego and now they have to somehow get the upper hand. Unlike most other games here you can run into the same people all the time and all sorts of drama or friction builds up.

In my case instead of using cheats, i used to grab an orca and slam it into the people pissing me off 😅

I would agree, my opinion is its mostly all ego thing. I dont think I have ever known of a humble cheater in all the time ive spent on this game, every cheater i have known of has run their mouth about how good they are and how trash the other people are.

if i was to cheat it would probably be for fun. everyone loves using console on skyrim or playing a single player mission in cheat mode. it's fun. ruins the game sure, but it's fun. i can imagine if this server dies i will just sub to cheats and have fun until I'm game banned.
