    It's in the title. Increase the payouts for shit. A lot of things are useless. I know in the community meeting this was brought up and people said it was being looked into but I think increasing the payout of only illegal items isn't enough. No one does Jury summons because the payout sucks and is a waste of time. Why would I do that when I could be running heisenberg or honestly even weed is a better payout than that. Increase it to 20k and people will actually go. Cartels are dead and they won't have much fighting if people have to grind for a half hour to get a loadout. Why the fuck would I get off an 8-10 hour shift to go to another shift in game just to get robbed or killed half the time. Honestly increasing the ability to make money would GREATLY help the server. Youd have more people interacting in towns and cartels, more fed events, less RWTing, and just an overall better experience in the server rather than afk grinding for hours so I can buy 5 loadouts. If your in a big gang with experienced players this grind is easier since you have WAY more protection. However for newer players getting robbed the second they come out of passive, its ridiculous for them.
     
    Also now that Kavala isnt as heinous as it used to be. Indicate on the spawn tab that this is for new players. The money making over there is much less contested and will be so much easier for them to make early money. But again increase the payouts of them cause weed and most of the shit in kavala sucks ass. New players are going to immediately leave if they can't start actually buying shit in their first couple hours or even first hour. Anyway thats my rant...

    This was not a player report, this was something that i saw in game. Even though i have no requirement to provide any evidence, i provided it to your friend in discord when he was crying that i was abusing my powers.

    If you think any admin is abusing their power, make an admin report to ensure it gets brought to our attention. But bitching in a forum post while providing no info whatsoever about the situation isn't going to solve anything.

    I'm going to start at what seems to be a perception or belief of the community about the Asylum development process.  You guys seem to think that I sit down at my computer and just add whatever I want to add and giggle when it fucks someone over.  I have been in this community since 2014 most of which obviously not as a dev, so I see where you're coming from but also it doesn't make any sense.  This last patch was entirely based around things that people wanted added to the server, QOL stuff, more combat stuff, etc etc etc.  There is no unilateral decision making when it comes to development on the server, everything is discussed with the SA's CMs, other devs, Rogue, COP, captains, Chiefs where applicable, and admins as a whole.  I am frankly quite irritated by the insinuations otherwise that we are just fucking around with code and then say, "Oh this looks good".  
    Development has to be a private affair, where possible we will let you know when something is about to come out, however I know for a fact that other servers staff watches our patch notes, and are inside our community trying to steal content, ideas, and players.  I am not going to make that easier for them in any way, shape, or form.  
    In regards to this actual list of complaints, I don't know if you just didn't actually read my post before becoming upset and deciding to write a response, or what.  But the exact same changes went into effect for the cop and civ trees, not to mention the fact that I extended how long the cop event takes to give the rebels time to counter and pay the rebels 500k for disabling it in the first place.  These events were never intended to be as easy to successfully complete than they were, so we changed that.  There is more stuff that we have plans for with these events and systems, so we wanted to change them now to see how it would work.  This decision had nothing to do with fucking you over, this was about improving a system that I made 4 months ago when I had no fucking clue what I was doing, to make it better and more able to build off of in the future.  
    In terms of balance, everyone things they have the perfect solution, you post your complaints from your perspective, someone else posts it from there's, these interests are hardly ever going to line up, and at the end of the day we need to make a call.  Just because we're trying something that isn't 95% in your favor right now doesn't mean that A) it won't be changed in the future, or  that it is the wrong decision for the community as a whole.
    Lastly, considering the previous state of development on here, and the development on other servers, we are more open and forthcoming than ever before.  If this was in other communities, you would have been banned from posting on patch notes with your posts deleted.  You have people volunteering their time, energy, and skills to make this place run, the overwhelming majority of whom are unpaid.  I really don't think it is too much to ask for to give us the benefit of the doubt that we aren't doing it maliciously, and that we are actively trying to better and save a community that we all love.  
    If you have something that you think should be changed for the better, make a suggestion, I can't divine what people are upset about, but also give it a chance.  Don't read something, and without logging onto the server or giving it time to play out decide that it is fucked.  We are spending quite a lot of time making all of this stuff, writing the notes and responses, and patching the server.  Spend some time yourself seeing how it is before immediately telling us to fuck off.

    Unfortunately chopping doesn't really work like this right now, but I agree that conceptually doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  I'll work on getting this to be a thing, but it might be a long term thing than a short term one.

    No but their mission file is unusable due to obfuscation, probably mikero tools. I hear the devs are pretty underpaid(slavery), I bet if you slide them a lil something on the low they could get you a useable mission file.

    Makes no sense. When we do a Nikolai cops just camp the boat and shoot us down when we tried to leave. In Nikolai we only get the money from the boat. If the cops camp the boat ( which is very common now ) its a 
    Why do cops get a mobile HQ and civilians have to spawn Therisa go to rebel gear up and then show up on orcas?. Cops can immediately gear up 1km out and be there quickly. In my opinion cops mobile HQ can be god moded but at the same time civilians should get a rebel outpost spawn in close to event similar to what we already have during gang fortress. 
     
    Atleast you have some incentive to play. When we do Nikolai compound we don't even get the money guaranteed. Oh wait we need to get good and some how kill cops wearing wetsuits camping the boat spawn AND kill cops in minigun boat. Don't forget the 90% chance of getting killed while driving the boat and the boat then circles around indefinitely in which case we are fucked because there is no way to get in or stop it. You try to shoot the engine it blows up, Try to block it with another boat you die and if you try to get in you get run overed.

    Cops literally get free loadouts if you get an MK spawned by an admin create you only pay 1k. While we civs have to get a 25+k loadout every time we die AND go through rebel and everything?. Why should cops get a closer spawn and free loadouts and we don't?. Only thing i agree on would be to let LTs either get paid for the ifrits/orcas they pull or get a higher payouts from the admins playing with cops.

     
    You have no idea what your talking about. The vault door has a timer and closes very quickly. Last time me and @Alex. died and we couldn't get the token. Yesterday @Smurfygot lethal led at the last few minutes and almost didn't get the token. It was a rev on him that saved him.
    Meanwhile cops get ample amount of time in Nikolai to chill and get the token. Never had any cop complain he didn't get the token. There are more civilians that play than cops so its done much quickly and easily while literally all the server civilians are rushing to get the token.
     
    If you find a bank to be challenging i don't know what to say.
     
    Civs can only land on roof AFTER we disable the roof or during the disablement. Land before it and hold it.
     
    Again your getting free loadouts and we don't. Why should cop win this event. There is no way for cops to loose Nikolai. Rebels ALWAYS loose because you can always just breach the Nikolai compound again and get it. So if one event is cop sided (Nikolai compound) then one event should be civ sided ( APD national )

     
    Brother... intel sells for max of 3.2mill in total. Imagine dividing that to a group of 20 people. Its peanuts, while cops get guaranteed payout of 250k ( last time i played cop side ). Our gear is 25k+ 

     
    I agree. We  tried to make a deal that we will do a Nikolai Compound so cops get their prestige and then you guys have to stick around so we could do a APD National. Its a win win in my opinion. 

    TLDR:
    - If your gonna make Mobile HQ god moded then spawn a rebel camp similar to what spawns during gang fortress near APD National. So both sides can gear up and come back.
    - Cops should loose in Nikolai compound if they fail to secure in X amount of time

    The APD National is suppose to be a civ victory while Nikolai is suppose to be cop sided.

    Allow gangs to fight to take control of any of the major city's giving them a cut of what ever is sold within city limit or on anyone pulling a car out at the DMV along with a small percentage of house taxes going to the gang that controls the city.

    2 Caps per restart 
    8 members of the gang/group are allowed to fight 
    the cap would be court house in all of the respective city's
    5% tax on houses 
    5% tax on DMV and truck stop purchases along with a tax if you pull the vic out
    5% tax on anything sold at illegal areas 
    3% Pay boosts for the holder of the city

    House spawns will not be available within city limits during the fight basic spawns will still be available.
    On the spawn screen next the city name it should say/ Athira(WARNING CITY UNDER SIEGE).

    Min 5 rebels must be in city to start the cap process if no one starts the cap process then the gang that holds the city keeps it until one is started.

    Cops can also fight to cap the city 
     -5 normal cops allowed in the city along with 5 Swat members in the city 5 swat members max for every swat member not in attendance a normal cop can take the persons place until a swat member become available .
    -2% reduction on kit cost bought within city limits
    -4% reduction on Vic costs bought within city's limits
    -3% reduction on Heli costs bought within city limits (armored and unarmored)
    -4% pay boost for tickets paid or prisoners sent to jail within city limits 
    -Min 5 cops must be in attendance to fight for the city if the max 10 officers are fighting everyone else must stay at a range of 2500km away unless they are going around to patrol red zones not in city limits.

    -Any cops killed by rebels/civ during the fight while within city limits will be charged with Captial murder that charge will carry a bounty of 15k 
    -With the Captial murder charge carrying such a high bounty it gives cops more incentive to fight for the city along with if they down instead of lethal they get a payout at the end if the person they down is caught.

    this is a rough idea, but it allows gangs that do not like to fight cartels all the time to fight for a city they care about 

    percentages are all very low so admins/developers can gage what they should be and what is fair.

    From a development stand point, were just not going to do anything about it.
    We have provided 7 rebels, 3 turfs, Gang fort/boat, Weapons crafting and storage of weapons in up to 5 houses. If a BH happens to be camping one of these you will have to utilize another.

    If you're looking for a rule change you will have to ask CM's/SA's and not the developers.
