Once upon a time there was a little guy named Chrispy. He had a very very shitty PC. But oh! He saved up and got a gaming PC for his birthday!!!! Chrispy was a very happy little fella after that so he bought this game called ARMA 3 his friend @raul4152 would always talk about how fun it was to play. My friend @BrahKell said I woulden't like the game because its a little more serious and i'm too much of a troll. Well I bought it anyway because fuck @BrahKell >:). So I bought it and had a blast playing with @BrahKell and @raul4152. But @BrahKell got salty after applying for APD and never played again! but me and @raul4152 would play all the time. Then I met someone named Yolo. He owned this gang called Boats N Hoes. It was interesting to see them kill everyone on the street besides themselves and me. So I opted to join their gang. It was fun for a while until I thought "Is this it?" I then realize they were labled "kavala trolls." So a few days later after I failed the interview a few times and exam once I finally passed and join the APD. When I first joined to be honest I did not know what I was doing at all. Until I met a few friends along the way to help me through my troubles. I then made a ton of friends from the APD and my career went from there. I non-stop played cop it was the most enjoyment i've ever had in a while. So after my fun I played some Zeus with my friends realizing how fun it was I asked should we go look for some good hacks to mess around with? So I goto a website called dank hax. They won't let you view the scripts unless you login to the website so I signed up to see what it was about. It costed way too much so I just let it alone and never touched the site again. But some salty LT named @Norwegianviking logged into the website to buy some super dank hacks and saw me on there, knowing he might get in trouble he turned it around to say that he was looking for people to get banned >:). He found me poor innocent chrispy who would never hack on a server he spent over 500 hours on in the last month. But no he got beat by his wife that day so he took his anger out on poor little chrispy. It would probably be something like only being able to own one shop and only being able to set prices 10% above the normal price or something like that. Now, I didn't come here to rip on the staff team calling them all lazy cunts who don't do anything because I understand. I completely understand that they are older men/women who have families and don't have a lot of time for this shit. I know that Admin has a ton of power and I believe that's why you hire older people so you have less trust issues. But this is where I don't understand.

Now I own a server on Garry's Mod. I can setup a ton of ranks with different permissions. The higher the rank the more trust you earned the more perms you get. I'm not sure if thats how it works with Arma.

The reason I state that is because where the fuck is the Moderator rank? Has it been left out? Has it broken? There is a reason that there is a Support,Moderator,Admin rank. As you gain more trust you gain more permissions. The reason why the staff team lacks is because like I said before the admins have families and stuff and don't have time for this shit. What about the Moderators though? I have not seen one moderator in my entire time being on the server. 

Where I am going with this is that if we have "MODERATORS" you won't have as many trust issues because they will only have basic commands that can fucking help people out so you can have a countless number of them. You should always have a staff member on the server so they can be there to make the environment less toxic.

They also need to be active in-game and mute trolls, kick rule breakers, etc. Their role is to be serious while in this position to show that they are mature enough to take the next step on becoming an Admin.

I don't understand why the fuck i'm getting roasted. I suggested shit its my opinion. I never said "MAKE ME ADMIN YOU FUCKING RETARDS" I never said anything about being staff I just said that maybe we should have a low tier non-abusable rank that more people can be accepted into. Thats all I fucking said.

The process we use works. As of right now Moderator apps are on hold until we can get back to a level set of truly active admins. Before now we really added moderators to fill a gap in activity, then everyone got used to not being active. As for our presence, majority of questions that we get are related to "I was RDM'd" our awesome Support Team members guide them to the right areas to report the incident, these guys are the first line of defense up the escalation process. As for Admin's being in-game, they are, they just don't play under their forum names to prevent harassment, where they can not play the game. We have tools that allow us to be "in-game" without needing to be in-game as well. Your idea is noted but we are using a process that is working for us at the moment.
Our team looks like the following:
Support Team: These are people that applied souly with the intent to help the community, as community members themselves. These people really do not get ANY perks to the job other than the satisfaction of being able to help the community.
Moderators: These are people that applied to become Admins, where we put them through a vetting process. They typically spend two months dealing with a variety of different situations. Once and only once we believe they are trustworthy, and mesh well are they brought on as Admins.
