Helicopter fly-bys on cocaine runners are one of my favourite things.

I'm not Gnashes but it has to be in-game using the text or voice system, that's like saying "Do I have to text them or can I use side chat to initiate."

I had a 187,000 bounty in Kavala and got downed by some scumfuck bounty hunter. He pardoned me. Papa bless him.

Well as is warning shots aren't against the rules. There is no such thing as RDM. If those warning shots do something like shoot the engine out of a helicoptor or cause someone to die then yes it is.

The recommended reaction when someone does "Warning Shots" is to either take off or let them kill you. At that point they can't kill you because they haven't engaged, HOWEVER if you turn around and shoot back at them you are both engaged and whatever happens is fair game.

As you can imagine that circumstance can go in a multitude of different dirrections.

tldr: Dont shoot back, that will make it fair play for the knuckleheads

I was recently banned for firing warning shots and then killing the pigs after they kept following us. I was under the impression that warning shots were initiation as long as u didn't damage the vehicle or any pig in it.
Most pigs that follow us know not to put their sirens on cause we blow their heads off. So my question is how long can a pig follow you with out putting their sirens and most of the time we have bounties on us. So it's not like they are going that way they are following us.

warning shots are only for helicopters

You could always shoot up in the air to encourage people to steer clear as a warning.

Yeah it totally makes sense why you would do it, but thats what they want you to do.

Thats why I said you just have to choose either let him kill you, run, or if you are going to shoot back make sure you can kill them

If he gets killed then it will be RDM imo.The only time i use warning shots is for Helicopter flying over me

Yes 100%. Warning shots are a way to usually get your attention or slow you down SO THEY can engage.

They have not at that current time, which is why an experienced player if they didn't have anything would just let the dickhead kill them or if you have stuff, then it isn't worth your time filing a report so just scadadle out of there.

If you choose to turn and fight thats your acceptance for both parties engaging

Ok here are a few scenarios
p1 fires at p2 without a word, p2 does NOT die, and does NOT fire back but p1 continues to fire and kill therefore rdm
P1 fires at p2 without a word, p2 does NOT die, but DOES fire back, and then dies but isnt rdm as both parties are initiated.
not going to bother explaining groups and gangs cause it gets a little more confusing

Honestly, I disagree with this because if you had ever been in Kavala you'd know that medics are really annoying. They VDM all the time there, I've died several times die to annoying medics. But with this white listing system, medics would actually care about their reputation and not want to get black listed. Also much more people would play as medic because they actually have something to work for (talents, reputation) I for one would play as a medic. Not to mention the squeakers, with a while listing system we wouldn't have to deal with 12 year old VDMing medics. If you go on an Olympus server, you'd see that the medics there actually help you while you are 10 KM away from them, they come in helicopters and actually care to come for you. Thanks

I think medics are in desperate need of a content update of some kind but I can't agree with the majority of your suggestions. It'd be cool if they had access to a wider array of vehicles, different helicopters included but you lost me after that. It would actually make for bad RP if you can't kidnap medics and very unrealistic. At the most I could see a separate charge for kidnapping medics that could be more severe than the standard kidnapping charge, same could apply to kidnapping a police officer but banning someone for it is crazy in my opinion.

So you can freely kill civs and cops, steal civ and cop vehicles, but medics are untouchables resulting in bans? Not good

    Greetings Asylum,
Whitelisting medics has been a desire of mine since joining the Asylum Admin team. I'm sure many others in this community have also given it some thought over the years. Obviously, when you whitelist a class (such as cops) you must have people that are willing to step up and give oversight to enforce standards. I feel the underlining issue with whitelisting medics is not only the oversight issue but the Dev's willingness to implement this.
Looking for ideas and feedback from the community on how (if the Dev's are willing) we would accomplish whitelisting medics on Asylum.
    Thank you in advance.

if you add some sort of prestige system and level like the APD I think it might work, esp. for new people.

Yes, This would prevent those idiot medics who say they're on the way, but really are all the way in Kavala when you're in Sophia.
But for real, this would be perfect. Age restriction would also be good. I'm done with 12 year old medics not reviving you instead of fixing your car.
P.S. I'm guessing that it's going to be like the police system except for paramedics.
     - Age restriction
     - More talents
     - Medics care about their reputation and don't want to be black listed, putting them in the direction to not run over people.
     - Like a bounty hunter's "honor"system, the medics would have a "Respect" system or something of that sort.
