Well typically we have the chance to get you without the hostage being harmed so we go that route, even if we say we are going to pay its almost always a setup. Hostage taking is not a very profitable line of work.

Tanoa was fun even if you weren't in Imperal or Mongoles. I was only in turtle hunters for 2 weeks and I play on that sever for months in no gang just with 2-4 other buddys and we had a blast. You really did not run into Mongoles or Imperal unless you tried trafficking pure cocaine. Also people complain about Mongoles owning cocaine on that server but people formed gangs to rebel against them and thats the whole point of having gangs own areas and forming rebellions.

Martial Law Means :
- Anyone with a firearm that does not put their hands up will be lethally shot
- Anyone who is hostile will be shot
- Civilians must seek shelter in a house or building
- All Officers (excluding cadets) will receive a swat loadout
- Any non-hostile civilians would put their hands up to prove they are not hostile
- Gun store gets locked down so no civilians can purchase firearms for the duration of martial law

In this topic I will talk about something that is already being debated at times, but I still do not know the definitive or partial answer of the subject. And this is about the combat logging against the bounty hunters, when we get the "criminals" to arrest them, they leave the game, doing that we only lose money on the items and die because they enter again until they can kill us. This is revolting as it is a bounty game, and sometimes the time spent chasing debtors is too big to have no profit. There is no role playing in this and it is against the rules. Obviously, I know the server has the option to report through the forum, but this is more laborious and we do not re Around anyway. However, the server's police have the option that: When the person gives combat logging it goes straight to jail. If the bounty hunter had this option, even if he did not win anything for it, people would be discouraged from giving combat logging because they would go to jail and we would have the option to report being against the rules. It would improve the server, encourage bounty hunting, and lessen the act.
This was only a suggestion based on my opinion, not a criticism.

I normally try to negotiate for the hostage but if they say "I WANT 100k FOR HIS LIFE", then I go okay kill him and Ill comp him for his gear because yeah I love to RP but fuck giving the cunt 100k. Also I normally give up either my gear for them or give them donuts and stuff.

I don't think the number's that high...
And to answer your question, I'd maybe give $5,000 or 5 donuts per hostage.
If you treat them humanely, I'll probably throw in some coffee.
