You can still connect to the servers using direct and browser in game tested and it works

That is possible but I think by now they are smart enough to back everything up pretty often just incase since a few years back we had that problem.

No the servers are most likely being ddos'd or having issues. I am more than for sure @bamf or @Gnashes will take care of it asap. Hang in there for news.
