    Everyone,
I want to take a moment to remind each of you that by the virtue of your rank, you each have access to information and details about players that are considered as sensitive and confidential. With this access comes the expectation that each of you will keep this secure information safe and not share anything that you see or read with those that are not privy to such details. This includes specific details list in player's applications, certain details about a player's whitelist status or history, specifics from IAD reports, or even topic details for other player reports from any other moderated forums.
Anyone caught abusing this access by disseminating any confidential information will at minimum result in losing their access to such information. This includes access to said moderated forums. Obviously, should you lose your access to these forums you will not be able to fulfill the responsibilities that come with your rank. As a result, you can expect to lose your rank as well when you do not keep up with the tasks required of your rank.
I hope you can all appreciate that players must to feel safe that the details they post in moderated forums will be held in confidence and not fearful of retaliation from their accused nor the community as a whole.

Finally, THANK YOU ALL for your continued support to the APD and as well as the Asylum community!

ALL ABSENCE REQUESTED MUST BE SUBMITTED ON OR BEFORE THE 15TH OF THE MONTH.
Absence requests are for officers at the rank of Corporal or higher who are planning to be away from the game for an extended period of time.
Sergeants and Lieutenants are not allowed to submit an absence request for their first 2 months in the position. Sergeants and Lieutenants are not allowed to request an absence for longer than 2 months at a time. Months absent do not count towards the 6 months of active duty requirement for Retired Sergeant or Retired Lieutenant perks.
Cadets and Constables are not required to submit absence requests as there are no activity requirements for those ranks. Corporal absence requests are handled by the Lieutenants. Sergeant and Lieutenant absence requests are handled by the Captains.

    Missing vehicles from the garage
According to the devs, when a vehicle is purchased it is immediately added to the database. If it is not recorded in the database, then neither is the money used to buy the vehicle. Unless there is clear evidence of this otherwise, no compensation will be given for disappearing vehicles. It was probably destroyed or sold at a chop shop.
Victim of a Server Rule Violation
If there is any monetary or vehicular loss due to a server rule violation and the player has admin action taken against them, you may also request for compensation. Please provide a link of your player report to show action being taken. If you do not, we will close your request and ask you to do so.
    Combat Logging of Bounty Targets
If a bounty target combat logs on you after you have caught/downed them; it is not our policy to provide guaranteed compensation for the monetary value you would have received if you had succeeded in arresting them. You may request compensation for this; however we are free to decline based on a variety of factors.
    Cargo lost
Cargo compensation requires evidence of possession and loss. There is no guarantee that it would have been safely processed, sold, and the payment secured. Only partial compensation up to half of the value shown in the evidence will be granted. Additionally, the stage of cargo might be reflected in the compensation given (For example: ephedra vs meth)
    No evidence beyond verbal reporting
In the case of no video/screenshot evidence, we reserve the right to give only partial or no compensation. If compensation is denied by one administrator then that verdict is final, you can not go to a second administrator to try again.
    Submission and Collection of Compensation
You have 14 days from the date of an incident to request Compensation for it. Once your Compensation is approved, you have 14 days to collect your compensation amount. Failure to submit or collect in a timely manner will result in the compensation being voided.
Anyone found abusing the compensation system may be denied future compensation along with Administrative action. on duping"

As always, Administrative decisions regarding compensation are final. If you are found to "shop for Admins" in order to be given previously denied compensation, you may be blacklisted from receiving compensation in the future.

If you wish to apply for compensation, please use the following format:
What is your in-game name? What server number were you on?: What is your Player ID (Directions below): Date of incident: Explain what happened: How much money are you asking to be compensated and list what specifically are you asking for? (If the vehicle is in THIS list, please name the vehicle. Otherwise, provide a dollar value - Physical Inventory is returned via cash) Please post any additional evidence to support your claim (i.e., Videos or screenshots (full/unedited/uncropped)). IF YOU PROVIDE A LONG VIDEO PLEASE PROVIDE A TIMESTAMP.
**FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE FORMAT WILL RESULT IN COMP DENIAL**
To locate your player ID go into Arma at the title screen. From there select profile (the silhouette of a person on the top right), select unit, select edit, click the 'Unit' drop down box, and select custom. This will be a 17 digit number starting with 7656. or <- Go to your steam profile. Enable URL's and your player ID is the numbers at the end of your steam profile page address(Can be found through this website as well: http://www.steam64.com/ just enter your steam profile link, the number you get  = Player ID)

We've said this in the past, but sometimes it's worth repeating:
If you find a bug in the game and then use that bug to your advantage then that is an exploit.  If you exploit things that get you large sums of money in the game with little to no effort, then you will likely have your account wiped and be banned for a short period of time.
Also as you likely already know, we have a very comprehensive logging system and see what people are up to.  If you are doing something scummy, the likelihood that you're going to get caught is very high.  Only you can decide whether all the effort you've put in here is worth risking over something that you could simply report to us and likely receive a reward for doing so.

    So here we are again.
I understand that some are upset over recent events. You have the right to be due to your interactions with them on the server being potentially illegitimate. And for that I am sorry.
It might be a bit tounge in cheek to say. But these individuals that have been mentioned successfully appealed their bans. As per Clint had mentioned. Not everyone has agreed.
The thing that I love about this community is that we can call a spade when we see a spade. I appreciate the feedback that I have gotten over the last few days. It has taught me some valuable lessons that I will use in the future.
As for the players that are subject here. I encourage you to hold them accountable for their actions, just as you would for any other player. Although they are given a second chance here. They too are not exempt from the rules. However, they are on a extremely short leash. Any infraction that shows they are up to their old ways. They'll find themself removed faster than before.
As stated by Clint. Any appeal is handled on a case by case basis. Sadly there are some players who will truly never see their return to Asylum. I will admit that this does seem "unfair" and if I were to be in your shoes, I'd think the same. There is just some information, conversations and evidence that the community Is not privy to. It's my understanding that this causes there to be some mistrust.
In closing I'd like to thank you guys for being a part of this place. Sometimes we need a little "drama" to air everything out.
    Mitch

I think I may jump on a bit and see how bad I've become and just how long it takes before the 1000 keyboard commands needed to step over a fence in Arma overtake me!
Hit me up if you guys still play regularly, you can help catch me up to speed.
Also, hello to all the new players and Kavala trolls!

When a SGT posts "Denied include DOB" or "Denied, fix application format" and then another SGT approves/denies after the applicant edits the post Yes, this is standard activity. When 2 SGTs accidentally double post on an app and one of them has to hide it.  (I guess the 2 SGTs can figure that out amongst themselves) Only the first relevent post counts as activity. When an LT posts "14 days playtime req waived" for an app (then a SGT proceeds to approve it) This does not count as activity. Neither does granting/denying "civ time" for a cadet. When an LT reinstates somebody (and posts "Reinstated for 3 day cadet week + RA", for example) Yes, this is standard activity. Zoex also asked, when we mark Corporals as inactive does that count as an activity or would it fall under disciplinary? This would fall under disciplinary activity.  Please feel free to post any other questions or concerns.

Not really a need per se, but I think undercover having access to the same armory at least as the BH would be a step in the right direction. Weapon color is a dead giveaway to any rebel.

    Greetings Asylum,
Whitelisting medics has been a desire of mine since joining the Asylum Admin team. I'm sure many others in this community have also given it some thought over the years. Obviously, when you whitelist a class (such as cops) you must have people that are willing to step up and give oversight to enforce standards. I feel the underlining issue with whitelisting medics is not only the oversight issue but the Dev's willingness to implement this.
Looking for ideas and feedback from the community on how (if the Dev's are willing) we would accomplish whitelisting medics on Asylum.
    Thank you in advance.
