Fellow APD Officers and Trainers,
Due to the server becoming more populated we would like to try out best to keep it this way while also keeping a substantial amount of officers online we will be restricting training times to accommodate this.  After observing peak times of the server we have seen that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the three days that have our peak amount of players.
Trainings will now only be hosted Monday through Thursday from here on out.
For anyone who needs trainings whether it be applying for Corporal or going for SWAT and cannot make a Monday through Thursday date, please talk to me or any APD Captain/Chief of Police and we will be happy to get your situation sorted out.  You can find any of us in TeamSpeak or message us on discord, @KingDerek#3275 @SandwichKREMIT#1234 @InnateInnate#2511 @Jr4life24Jr4life24#0545

@DS_BillyWe are gathering the data to do a comparison between this event and a normal time period to show the difference of how much was processed. Should be done in a few days.

Event Description
 
Welcome to Part 1 of April's Community Challenge!  During this event, Civilians and APD will compete amongst themselves to see who can process and seize the most drugs.  If you feel like you're up to the challenge you may register yourself with the link at the bottom of the post, and don't worry, you can sign yourself up for both APD and Civilian if you'd like!  Civilians will compete with each other and try to process as many drugs as they possibly can before the end of the event, APD will compete with each other to try and seize the most amount of drugs as they possibly can as well. The event will start on 4/8/2023 at 12:01 AM EST and end on 4/15/2023 at 11:59 PM EST
 
Rules
 
- Only drugs that can be sold at the drug dealer will be counted, so anything you sell at Wong's Triad will not count, Crank will also not count as it can be done remotely and safely. Weed will not count whether it is legal or not.
- Each drug processed will count as 1 point, taking any drugs to Purification Factory and processing them there will count for 2 points, ie. You process 1 cocaine and then take it to Purification Factory and process it again it will total up to 3 points, any drugs lost from Drug Cartel tax or Missing Talent tax will not count for points.
- No funneling unprocessed drugs to a single person you are either in a gang with or associated with.  You will be caught.  First time you are caught doing this will result in a warning and removal of any points gained from funneled drugs, second time will result in a disqualification from the event.
- Drugs seized by cops will only count if it is into evidence at an HQ. Any drugs seized from a failed evidence lockup raid will not count.
- People will have to individually sign up by the 4/7/2023 11:59 PM EST

You MAY log off if you have been restrained for more than 10 minutes
This DOES NOT include APD restraints
If you choose to fight back after your restraints break you are choosing to re-enter the situation and your timer resets.

Similar to shipping robbery minus the tracking on the map - rolling red zone, easy to distinguish due to color of the vehicle 


 
VDM Clarification.
Knowingly killing/downing spangled players caused by yourself or a group/gang member is VDM.
If the player was hit intentionally, and the shooter is in the same gang both are held responsible, 
If the player was hit intentionally, and the shooter is NOT in the same gang only the driver is held responsible.
If the hit was accidental, and the shooter is in the same gang the shooter is held responsible, 
If the hit was accidental, and the shooter is NOT in the same gang then no one is banned.

 
Multiple accounts.
The use of multiple accounts to knowingly benefit your other account while both logged into the server is strictly prohibited.
Examples but not limited to - Using one account to initiate while your other is set up in an advantageous posistion.
Having multiple accounts simultaneously running drugs or 1 collecting/processing and 1 defending.

 
Restraints
Restraints DO NOT extend initiation.
This means that if your group/gang member has been restrained, and it has been over 5 minutes since last initiation, you will need to re-initiate before killing the players holding them.

   Thanks to everyone that participated, we would like feed back on what you guys like or did not like about the event. Also if any of you have any ideas of events you  would like to possibly see in the future let @King @Mayhem and I know and we will try our best to make it happen.  This was some what of a test run to see what we were able to do so hopefully things do get better. Again, thank you everyone that put up a fight.

Hotfix #2
Gang Fortress/Boat start times -1 hour. Added respawn, car spawn and rebel safezones for Gang Boat. Fixed helicopter spawning at Gang Boat. Fixed Cartel Event not paying out money in some rare cases. Fixed Alcatraz lifetime quest. Changed message about lead and storing uranium. Passive Mode prevent escorting, etc.

I do think it would be a cool concept that the APD gets alerted that the evidence lock up is nearing full capacity and will require an extraction of some sort to a different HQ and have an admin or developer triggered event.  Then the APD can choose the percentage of how much they want to transport and give the revels a chance at a mini event. It would send a message to Altis like a news broadcast saying the APD is moving resources and anyone attempting to attack the HQ will be shot on site.
