Some new ideas to maybe help with the wipe

With the coming wipe to the server there are multiple ideas that I can think of that’ll separate you apart from oly. These will be drastic changes but I feel like that’s needed in order to set yourself apart and have players come play asylum. 
1: Give longtime players special skins/tags/donor ranks for their dedication to the server before the v3 wipe

2: Have a prewipe myasylum category or just keep the stats on there because they are cool almost trophies for longtime players 

3: Mass Unban

4: Lastly and honestly in my opinion MOST IMPORTANTLY add mods to the server. With the modded life scene down horribly right now (with how bad this anzus wipe has been) it could be a huge jump to add even some simple mods that add cool content (new guns and vehicles) to start. It would allow tons of cool customization, take a load off of skin devs, and switch up weapon selection and make fights and new metas. I think the only way we are gonna see new players switching over is adding mods. I know the old argument was that mods were hard to install for new players but the ease of installing mods combined with the fact that arma 3 has almost 0 new players this is the best way I can see asylum surviving.

Just discussing this with people in my gang. I understand the difficulties in adding mods and balancing armor from modded vehicles with vanilla ones can be a nightmare but I think doing this is the only way to separate ourselves from other servers. If asylum announced they will be adding mods in the future and made their own mod pack would be the best idea imo. Even if it took 4 months to make the mod pack with all the content they want it would allow for easier development. I just think the announcement alone would get people starting to play tho knowing that it’s coming in the future.

^^, it kinda scared me when I heard that the wipe is like a week out my first thought was how fast its coming, my second thought was how can they make big enough changes to the server in a week.

I personally don’t think they can. I think it’ll be same old asylum with no real reason to switch or play it… I think a long development of a modded server would be a perfect announcement with the knowledge of a wipe on the way would just encourage players to spend their money and fight each other without any worries of having to save money

Would increase player interaction (as @williamloves to yap about) and have a bright future announced with fresh new exciting content

this is what im worried about, im worried they're gonna change up the map, remove a bunch of shitty content, and all it will be is the same thing but meth lab is now north of athira instead of east of pygros
