Which in turn nerfs bhunters. A scheduled server event shouldn’t allow you to spawn somewhere that makes it infinitely more difficult for a bhunter to catch you. If you are good enough you can evade a bhunter… nobody is forcing u to spawn at Theresa

bro it is infinitely NOT difficult to catch anyone during these events, make them fair a bh should fights and catch their bounty not wait for said event to start so they can ruin it

ignore it, group caps was fucking stupid. only people that did not like it were people that had to big of egos to recruit to their (top tier gang) to fight zerg gang. has nothing to do with fighting cops. zergs make this game dont ruin it.

Cheat and get global = no ego

Only wanting to play with friends = big ego

Lmao bro if u played for more than a month if it got wiped consistent ide be shocked all you do is log on rat cartels and feds and let’s be honest a wipe would kill asylum idk what planet you live on there’s servers with 100 plus tell me one good reason if people lost all the shit why would you start again on there ? If you can I’ll be all for it and don’t come with that bullshit that (it can’t be any worse)

Would love for u to point out where in my post it says anything about wiping the server

I would personally love that but its not in the suggestion

I also gave the server a shot on alt accounts for about 2 months and now have come to the conclusion im not playing until there is change. Probably 4hrs a day and if thats not enough for a server that had 30-70 people idk what is

Bro plays the server for 30mins a month n acts like he knows what’s best your idea is dogshit pal am sorry to say

Maybe theres a reason for that same as for many others, i dont know if u have noticed but the server is missing 90 players all day

It wont work because of what pablo said. It will completely kill the server imo. If you were a newbie and had the option to join a 30 pop server or a 100 pop server which would you choose?

the server is already completely dead or about to be, what kind of hope wave are u guys riding?

But if they wipe the server why would you start fresh on a server with 30 people when you can start a fresh on somewhere with 100 plus ?

    this

its crazy to me that both of u clowns have completely missed the part where this is an ATTEMPT to get more than 30 people on the server

How much of a cap would you say is reasonable out of curiosity?

I really liked the 1m but with the option to farm prestige for a bigger money cap.

But it all really depends on how easy it is to make money, i feel like current prices on drugs makes it so that u can easily make that 1m money cap in a day which would not be good, Prices needs to be checked and balanced for it all to work so its hard to say.

Ifrits currently do not have any policy attached to them. They're normal armour, just like the armour rebels are allowed to use without policy. If policy is implemented on ifrits, does policy need to then be implemented on hunters and striders as well? If not, why? Ifrits have the same armour as hunters and striders. The only difference is the angle of the glass at the front. Confirmed by Fitz, ifrits have the same armour:

    B668IBh.png

So this is dependent on what you deem as a "higher-ranking officer."

    • Permanent Corporal is given to Retired LTs/SGTs who meet a certain time requirement as an active staff member.
    • Permanent Captain is given to Captains who meet certain time requirements as well.
    • 2nd LT (in-game Lieutenant with no activity requirements, but no authority over voting) is typically given to admins after a certain period of time of being an admin if they're already some sort of staff rank prior to becoming an admin, although some rare cases have occurred where an active LT is given permanent 2nd LT as a gift for very long term service and dedication to the APD. Again, very rare.
    • Permanent Sergeant I believe has only been given 2-3 times for the same occurrence as stated above with long term service and dedication to the APD.

I don't know if I'm allowed to give you specific numbers so I won't, but what I can tell you is that the highest number of APD officers by rank is Corporal, by very far. For whitelisted cops, Corporals make up at least 60-70% of the force. Granted, this includes retired staff given the rank of permanent Corporal.

What issue do you have with the amount of higher ranking officers? Typically it's mostly Cadet/Constable/Corporal online, with maybe a Sergeant. Very rarely do you see many Lieutenants+ online, and even then their arsenal is typically matched, or even lesser than the civilian counterparts at the time.

Perhaps a better judgement on what kind of equipment needs to be used and when? We're always told the cops don't need to win every fight, but we don't. When we do win a fight it's because we either somehow have the numbers or it's a group that might be less experienced.

Hah, I was part of the Captain team when parole was removed. I remember the reason it got removed was because it was abused way too much. People would turn themselves in only expecting parole, and when they didn't get it they would flip out. If parole was implemented, it would have to be a very rare case of someone RPing really well and having deserved it. It was always given out like candy because there was no reason not to give it out. The cops got the full bounty paid out, and the civilian basically got a free pardon. Even if the civilian broke parole it was only a $25k charge they could spend 5 minutes in jail for so it wasn't a big deal. It got to a point where a very highly wanted suspect would just get parole then break parole on purpose to get a smaller jail sentence.

It would be cool if a suspect breaks parole it would add the charges they had before parole to them plus the broken parole charge. And it would be good if paroled players were tracked for the whole duration of parole instead of only if they broke parole. Just my thoughts on that.

There's already a ratio for civs to cops. Are you suggesting that they make it more strict for cops? I'm not sure what the numbers are specifically but they're already pretty strict. A lot of the time, cops are getting ratioed already.

There currently are no policies on lethal payouts. I'm assuming that you mean have it looked at to be implemented again. The problem with lethal payouts is that there's a lot of situations where cops need to kill civilians. There are some ideas that can be tossed around, for example:

    Pardon on Lethal

    • If accidental in a fairly controlled situation
    • Outside of federal events

    Don't Pardon on Lethal

    • If in an active federal event
    • If it is a large group outside of a federal event
    • If unreachable (can't get to them in a reasonable amount of time, or getting to the suspect would cause me to be killed

I'm not entirely sure what the issue is with not having lethal payouts, but if you could shed some light on that maybe it can be discussed further. The problem with lethal payouts is that there is less RP because there are typically less charges on suspects, but since Asylum has moved further away from an actual RP server to more of a very light RP server, I wouldn't cross it off as being a thing in the future.

For drones, I know there was a small issue when they first came out as being overpowered because there were so many of them, but nowadays they're not really pulled out that often. There's also already policy around them, one big one being that the drone can't travel more than 7.5km away from the officer.
Drones are also super weak too. You can shoot them down very easily if you do see one.

What issue do you see with drones currently that needs to be addressed?

Armed boats are only useful in very niche situations, namely Nikolai's when it was on the oil rig in the ocean. Now there's not really much of a use for them. Only Lieutenants+ can pull these anyways, so it's probably already fairly rare to see one unless a Lieutenant+ is online. Maybe some policy on when we can pull them? It is a 6.5mm minigun after all. The armed ghosthawk is strictly enforced with policy, as well as the Qilin minigun.

So I'm going to admit I'm rather biased on this one, but I disagree. Again, most of the time it's Constables/Corporals around, and they don't have anything to counter armoured vehicle at all. Spike strips are the only tool they have available to them and even while being able to deploy them from a vehicle, they need to be timed correctly and precisely, sometimes at the cost of risking a VDM ban for getting too close to an armoured vehicle. I don't want to sound like a dick, but if armoured vehicles are getting spiked, just play smarter. <_<

All my suggestions are meant for if this money and grp cap gets implemented, cops are gonna need nerfing from how they are now because the grp cap is gonna make civ EXTREMELY weaker than they are now. I cant imagine 8 civs trying to rob an event and 16 cops are coming at u in 1 ifrit each and a couple minigun boats.

Nothing i said i want implemented now as the server is unless money and grp cap is getting added.

u also cannot compare to how stuff works right now as to how they would work with this grp cap and money cap implemented, drones are useless now since barely anyone is doing runs. If a hummingbird can stalk u from several km up in the sky silent a drone will without problems aswell.

The ifrit one i cannot understand how u think like that. On paper they are the same yes but in practise quite obv they are not. 10 striders driving straight at me im ripping 7, 10 ifrits driving straight at me im LUCKY if i get one. This obv make them not equal and quite different in power. Civs will always need alittle more since they are fighting based on a somewhat 1 life, while cops are gonna come at u in several waves therefor misstakes are alot more forgiving, counter civs by making them extremely expensive.

a SINGLE officer especially low rank have NOTHING to do with needing an advantage on an heavily armord car like an ifrit, U ARE OUTGUNNED, 2,3 or 4 officers all MXs can easily communicate and say hey lets shoot out a tire TOGETHER, i think alot of these officers are so focus on HAVING to rip an ifrit. u can beat it by shooting out his glass, tire or tazing him if he drops. u do not need a absolute broken way to take it down. 1 officer trying to spike me is not the issue its the 14 others that i need to dodge aswell while having mk1s trying to rip me on every turn. again this is all for if grp and money cap is added i could not care less how the server is played as of now.

i prob missed alot and dont explain it very well and i also dont know how to quote like u are doing. Most people disagreeing with me seems to think i want these changes right now, alot of these things are barely being used/abused cause there is no one to do it on, but if there is a population increase and they cant team togheter in these mass groups, they will be used and abused and make asylum extremely cop sided.

I mean its pointless to debate tbh they won't do it. And even if they tried it I guaranteed it would get rolled back within a month. This game is super old as ya'all keep saying. This isn't the days of 5 years ago  ya'all keep preaching about. Even though I wasn't here for it it seems alot of people are living in the past of this is what it once was or how things were. Those days clearly, seem long gone from my perspective. If they want to do a wipe they can do a wipe, but I think at this point and time it would be a huge mistake.

u cant do a wipe with a possibility of a roll back, thats just gonna defeat the whole purpose. All the people who are against it right now are going to either not play or go ruin it, even if it were to work after and they realise it then. Im literally doing the same thing right now, im not playing until there is change, and so will they then they wont play untill there is change aka roll back

im all for this, but obviously these changes are a lot easier said than done (and I dont mean from a development difficulty standpoint) getting these variables all correct takes some serious planning.

Dont think its much harder than for the monkeys running this shit to start talking and cooperate, we will obv help them out

I think you could do this, but it would just be super hated by the players just like it was years ago. I think a better change would be an entire economy rework to make getting to a position where you're indefinitely set much much harder. (either lower rewards for runs or up risk, or up the prices of loadouts) Something to make it so an active player who is consistently playing/fighting cannot keep a ridiculous bank balance without making it seem like the money you're making from a run goes into this useless thing called prestige money.

At the end of the day, the server is economy hyper inflated. The prices of items IMO should follow this inflation. Maybe make it so the more money you have the more you have to spend on taxes (tax the rich type shit). idk just my 2 cents.

In my post i say adjust server prices and that includes everything from drugs to gear to vehicles and so on, im not so sure about the prestige thing since i was never even close to having 1m at that time but i feel like 1m is very easy to obtain today with what i know and will be enough to have fun for 1-2 days then i have to make it back. Prestige will add someting for the moneymakers to do and if im not wrong farming it used to let u increase ur own moneycap aswell so it wasnt totally useless.

I also think there are more ways to be wealthy than just your bank account, fill ur garage with orcas 50cals ifrits whatever u want, stock ur house to the max with flly processed and ready to sell drugs so that when u spend u can just get money capped again but by actually playing the server this time. stock your house with gearsets.

I obv want everything to be more expensive and for drugs to pay less, i want the grind make me want to play the server but that would have to be balanced with everyone elses opinions aswell
