    would be cool if you could buy an abandoned house for a small price but you lose it on restart.
     
    "You are about to purchase an abandoned building, with XXX physical and xxx virtual inventory. Due to the nature of the building, the government will condemn it in XXX minutes and you will lose access to it." might help new players try to do a run of more complicated drugs.

    There is a 99% chance this is going to get immediately shut down by one of the devs over some bs reason but ill suggest this anyways:
     
    Add in more houses available to buy. Let people buy abandoned houses or the stone houses that don't have doors or the slum shacks scattered around the map. Market price can be half of what their non-abandoned counterpart house would be and then be set to be a 1C (or even 0.5C) for all I care, idgaf just add them in. There are towns around the map that literally have more abandoned houses than actual homes to buy and I want to be the proud owner of a fucking crack house.

    Kavala. I'm confused as to why this is even debated. Athira is way too small to be a main city. I understand that it's centralized, but activities can be balanced around how far away from Kavala they are.

    its much bigger, as well as much more new player friendly, since the lower tier money making methods are surrounding it, like wreck excavation, weed, mining, sea turtles, etc while athira is basically just coke or mining.

    I would like to announce a few things. First things first, I would like to apologize for being too disconnected from the community. I could make a list of reasons as to why this was the case, but those would just be excuses. The only person to blame for the current situation is me. I will be around weekly at a minimum going forward to assist the admin team.
     
    To help remove some of the weight from the Senior Admins(SAs) plate, Community Managers(CMs) will be added to the team. Their only duty will be to ensure the pulse and health of the community is at the forefront. The SAs will continue to run the admin team. They are separate roles but of equal rank. This will help each role focus on what matters most, the health of the community. That being said, welcome our Community Managers:

    Unfortunately Arma is shit when it comes to performance so this is very unlikely to happen. Even if you limited it to 5 per house x 5 houses per player x100 players = 2500 objects on the map, with cities, where performance is already less than ideal taking the biggest hit.
    Just doing some some basic testing, 5 chairs per house for only a 1/4 of Kavala equaled a ~30% frame drop, that's with no players and no code running.
    We also have to take into account players with lower end hardware. There are people already only getting 20fps in cities, and that kind of drop would be the difference between the server being playable and not. All for something that 99% of players would never use, as sitting in a chair in your house doing nothing would be incredibly boring.

    Federal Event Changes -
    National APD HQ Robbery -  Due to the nature of valuable intelligence inside, the National APD HQ will have slightly different responding policy, listed as following, officers must give a minimum of 2 lives for the main event. In the event that the vault begins to be breached, officers are to give at least an additional 2 lives and securing of the vault will supersede the federal event priority list. 
    Any Civilian found in possession of APD Intelligence shall be charged for “Possession of APD Intelligence”
     
    The Gas Mart - Sgt+ now may limit the amount of officers responding to a gas mart robbery effectively allowing other officers to maintain current patrol. If done so, the Sgt+ must respond to the event themselves to ensure that it will be secured.

    CMR-76 -
    UC Officers now have access to the CMR-76, officers are not allowed to drop the rifle to anyone without the appropriate Prestige Tier

    EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
    The APD is introducing the use of Armed Ghost-Hawks
    Information below:
    1.  Actively Seated Captain must be in the helicopter to ensure proper use of the armed Ghost-Hawk.
    The armed Ghost-Hawk shall not be used to land officers into an active firefight.
    2. Only one Armed Ghost-Hawk may be used at a time or:
    In the event the APD lose control of an armed Ghost-Hawk, another may be dispatched to disable the stolen helicopter. A stolen armed Ghost-Hawk will take priority over everything until it is secured. Once the Ghost-Hawk is secured an Actively Seated Captain may issue one officer to pilot the stolen Ghost-Hawk back to an HQ, no other officers may occupy the Ghost-Hawk's gunner seats at that time.
    3. Armed Ghost-Hawks shall only be used if cops are heavily outnumbered and/or are repeatedly responding to federal events with no reprieve.
