Foreword:
This is not the first time that I have had to write a foreword on a patch note, over the last several months the general state of the server has decreased significantly, development has been excruciatingly slow, and folks have again lost faith in Asylum staff. Yet again I over promised and under-delivered. As I'm sure most of us have experienced, sometimes life is difficult to predict, and we cannot always spend as much time on things as we'd like. We have been able to make strides on bringing on more help, broaden the load and try and get back on track. Who knows how far we will get, but I am committed to continuing this effort and reviving this community.
Development, increase the frequency of patches and features, increase size of team via new developers and @Jesse returning to help me in a development & advisor capacity. Community, we will be selecting both a community manager(s), and a community council, this will be a public process where community members will be able to observe and ultimately provide feedback on ideas before they are developed. More information on this process will be released in a post ideally next week, Upgrading legacy systems and experiences, forums, TS, discord, Wiki, etc. Patch notes formatting- starting with this patch, patch notes will be posted all on the same "Changelog" Post, this way like most games you will be able to see patches right on top of each other to track progress. We will still have a dedicated post for feedback. In our community meeting update I announced a bold new idea to shrink the map and increase interaction. After some time exploring this idea, and hearing feedback I have decided to take the lessons we learned and the features we liked to into a unique experience with everyone at the table and keep everyone's play styles available. Our goal is still to increase interaction and combat outside of scripted locations, and we have the ability to use the map to our advantage in this regard. Specific ideas will be worked on and brought to the community as we flush out the ideas that we are hearing.
1. The winning gang of domination Saturday afternoon will have the option to choose one of the three deep state Ifrit skins
2. The five players with the top playtime on the server between now and Monday Morning will receive the Cybertruck Ifrit Skin
3. The ten players with the top playtime on Saturday morning will each receive 1000 Asylum gold.
4. The gang with the most cartel captures between patch and Sunday Night will get 6 months of free Asylum Plus
5. I will be TPing around the map and giving out a number of other items as well.
The Event coordinators will be running a number of events as well, they will announce a schedule soon. I will incorporate some of these skins and rewards into these events.
This patch will go live this Friday, 5/2/25 at 5:30pm EST

Contract Missions
Vehicle Delivery Missions Go to the Independent Contractor Scroll wheel on the NPC, and select which mission you want to do by calling the representative. Vinny will task you with delivering him vehicle. Carl will task you with delivering crates. Vinny Vinny will set a marker on your map with where the vehicle is that needs to be picked up, hurry over to it before it gets stolen. Pick up the vehicle and deliver it to the drop off point to get paid. There are new quests associated with these missions: Complete 25 vehicle Deliveries - Offroads for deliveries and a 20% higher payout +15000 Complete 35 vehicle Deliveries - Box Trucks for deliveries and a 20% higher payout +25000 Complete 50 vehicle Deliveries - HMMT Fuel for deliveries and a 20% higher payout +35000 Complete 100 vehicle Deliveries - HMMT Box for deliveries and a 20% higher payout +45000 Complete 150 vehicle Deliveries - Zamak Fuel for deliveries and a 20% higher payout +55000 Complete 250 vehicle Deliveries - Tempest Flatbed for deliveries and a 20% higher payout +65000 Carl Carl will set three markers on the map with where the crates are for you to go pick up, and a HMMT flatbed to pick up the crates. Use the truck to pick up all three crates and then deliver them to the drop off zone. Once the truck and crates have been delivered you will be paid. Care Packages Rebels can now buy care packages at rebel, when activated they will drop in the purchased item via an airdrop. Rebels can call vehicles, 7.62 ammo, or an Mk1 care package. Mk-1 Crate (3 Mk1s, 15 7.62 Magazines, $20,000 Ammo Crate (75 Mk 7.62 Mags, $10,000 Ifrit Air Drop (Single use Ifrit- cannot be stored, upgraded or chopped). $25,000 Orca Air Drop (Single use Orca- cannot be stored, upgraded or chopped).$20,000 Pocket Cars Civilians, cops, and medics alike can now buy pocket vehicles, these are assembled by the player at their location. Never get stranded again and buy a single-use pocket vehicle. Quadbikes-$750 Hatchback (Sports) 2500 Cocaine can now be gathered dynamically by picking it from the trees at coke field Cocaine can now be processed dynamically by running around in the pt at the cocaine processor Jewelry Emporium has been revamped via a new custom map courtesy of luke Mental Asylum has been revamped via a new custom map courtesy of luke Prison has been revamped via a new custom map courtesy of luke The Asylum Casino has been upgraded, after moving into the Asylum Grand Palace, across from the Midnight Palms Nightclub the future home of karaoke. APD Checkpoint Alpha The APD has begun to beef up its presence around the island, setting checkpoints, and seizing contraband from the civilians who pass through. Robbery 3 APD officers are required to be online in order to rob Alpha Checkpoint Place a diamond-tip-drill on the back door of the evidence storeroom Wait 10 minutes and then load the loot into a vehicle, sell at an ownable gas station, in order to reap your reward. Smokes have been edited and re-enabled, these enhanced smokes reduce the lag from Arma smokes significantly. Cops can now toggle blue only lights by scrolling whilst being the driver of an APD vehicle. If lights are already on they must be turned off and back on to switch the color scheme Paros is now a spawnable city hosting the Asylum Casino and Palace Warning System Admins are now able to warn players in-game before moving to place bans This system is currently being integrated to allow for out-of-game warnings to prevent unnecessary bans This is part of our goal to decrease the severity of certain punishments on the server. The Bamboo boys are gonna be returning to Lemnos (the real life location of Altis) and I'm thinking about building an Asylum mural somewhere. Basically I want to have like every Asylum player's name cemented on the island in a shared location. It's impossible though for me to remember everyone from memory though so here's what we're gonna do,
If you would like your name cemented on the island then like this post. If you go by a different in-game name than your forums name then comment that name down below. If there is any notable players who are not around anymore but you would still like their names to be cemented on the island you can comment them down below as well (please do not duplicate names other users have submitted). This will be happening within the next week, so spread the word to all your Asylum gamer friends.

Flyrobert1000 is the bomb. The dude always RPs with us, he's on all the time, he comes back even though he's out manned and out gunned. He doesn't stop until he takes us down. I never heard him speak poorly of anyone and he's always in char. This man deserves a promotion! More cops like him!

Obviously only been a few days, but we've been receiving a lot of requests about the return of the Mental Asylum and Jewelry Emporium robberies, we have returned with slightly edited versions of these events, with more coming down the pipe. As always feedback and requests are welcome and what we work off of. We still have a ton of stuff in the works and looking to get those out as we complete each feature.
Mental Asylum Robbery
The mental asylum has returned to the Kore area! Currently 7 cops required.
Place Demo Charge on front gate missile, be careful there is barely enough time to run away! Event will start once it goes off. Prime thermite on front door, after 5 mins it will blow! Plug the trojan USB into the 5 mainframe computers and wait for 10 minutes while your virus disables the network The tomb will then be located on the map for looting Drive over and input the code to escape with the loot
Jewelry Emporium Currently 4 cops required
To start the event you go to the emporium and place a diamond tip drill on the door to the Emporium After 5 minutes you then enter the emporium and use crowbars to break into the crates and gather the trophies You then load the trophies in the crane After 10 minutes and the trophies are collected you use a plasma cutter to crack the safe to get the last bag of jewels! After the loot is loaded in the crane a Qilin Minigun will spawn in for you to drive away with. (Seling) You can sell the loot at any Ownable Gas Station to launder your jewels. @Iuke is finishing up a new Jewelry map, see a sneak-peek below, and along with @zdeat are working on updated features to augment the current mental asylum. Ideally these new maps will be implemented by weeks end. Enjoy the current ones and provide feedback on design so we can update as we go.

A few more tweaks and bug stuff this week, some bigger features are in the works but we're not going to hold stuff back in favor of big patches anymore. Will try and get a community meeting in the works to discuss what's going on as well. My Discord is always open.

That just promotes pushing 8 and sitting there. I think the system is fine how it is. If the afd isn’t able to get to them then the cops will do it as we always have. Plus cops move around the map a hell of a lot more then the afd does so we tend to get more revives anyways. I don’t think we should forfeit anything if we are doing the work while the useless afd just sit in a town. Especially after their “boycott”.

I have a different aquatic event on my list (Shark Attack Jet Ski Race), but I’ve been a fan of aquatic side of ArmA 3 for many years. Favorite APD training back then, too.
With that said, it’ll probably need one side having the green wetsuit, and the other having the black NATO one with different rebreathers. The movement without wetsuits would be significantly slower. The Diving Goggles have a few variations- will think on team attire. I like option 1, but both sound fun. Would you personally want it announced in Discord ahead of time as a bigger event with two big teams? Could you see it as a “swiss” bracket elimination tournament with multiple teams?

split em into two teams with some sort of uniform identifier.
option 1: 2-3 objects are placed in an underwater area (like some of those hidden underwater ruins or something) and the first team to pick up a majority of the items and bring em back to their base wins. winners get an admin gift or cash or something
option 2: same thing as option 1, but its just a tdm. first team to 3 wins in a best 3 out of 5 or something gets rewarded. underwater and aquatic shit is underrated.

I posted this a while back and I think it was approved, but there was a lot of other things in there that I requested, so it might have been buried.
Solid blue cop lights for Cpl+ or Asylum+ would be pretty sick and it is literally as easy as changing …”red”… to …”blue”… ( I tried it with the asylum script. ) We’ve had the red and blues for a while and I think spicing it up with solids would be sick.
Only reason I say Corporal is because they hold a “Higher-up” role in the food chain, if not lock it to Sgt / Asy+.

Domination SRT
SRT has returned to the island. APD officers are able to deploy for SWAT by scrolling on the warrant NPC in APD HQs when domination is active. Officers can uncap dom points and receive scalable pay based on their stats (include the breakdowns again)B Officers are paid 2k per kill, and it costs 5k per respawn SRT officers do not count towards fed events Non-Dom SRT
SWAT certified officers are able to deploy for SRT once a SGT+ activates the elite squad by scrolling on a warrant NPC Once activated up to 6 police officers can deploy for SRT, they are able to access elite weapons based on the above achievements (Same as dom). SRT roster is tied to population with a max of 6 80 >6 60> 5 40> 4 30> 3 20< 2 SRT officers are able to neutralize cartels by activating a raid by scrolling on the flag Once activated a 25-minute process will start, if the APD flag is still hanging on the cartel flag it will be neutralized for 30 minutes. Rebels are not able to capture the cartel during this time.
Rebels can prevent the APD from capturing the cartel by scrolling on the flag The proceeds from the cartel is then stored in an APD slush account stored within the SRT forward operating base. (Money is shown on the SRT marker on the map) In order to access the money the APD must successfully execute a convoy to bring the funds to the APD Athira HQ lockup, if successful they will be rewarded. (See APD Convoy) The rebels are able to raid the compound via a federal event to get the money back, rebels can also attack the convoy to loot the cash. (See SRT Base Raid) There is a 5 minute cooldown between raids and the applicable APD policy will be released to limit it further. These SRT officers are also not included in the federal event counter, unless it is relevant to the SRT forward operating base. Convoy Event
APD officers can now start a convoy event from the SRT Fortress to launder the money from their cartel raids once there is more than 50k stored in the base. SRT officer starts convoy on the laptop at the base of the radio tower An Evidence Dept box truck will spawn with the cash inside of it Officers must drive the vehicle to Athira HQ to successfully secure the money the money will be split amongst the cops upon delivery Rebels can lockpick the truck to get the money out of it Raid Event
Rebels can now raid the SRT fortress to gain access to the money gained from the cartel raids Disable electric fence and AA system at the base of the AA tower (USB needed) Hack the laptop at the base of Gate 1 (USB needed) Hack the laptop at the base of the radio tower to finish the mission (USB needed) Once the radio tower has been breached SRT will no longer be able to contact APD officers for backup. A truck will spawn in with the money as banded bank notes Cops can secure the compound via the laptop under the AA tower after the radio tower has been destroyed, or before the middle gate has been breached. After years of warfare the APD has now cordoned off two locations filled with unexploded ordinance Civilians can go these areas and search through the debris in search of bomb fragments Careful! some bombs may still be live! We’re introducing Hireable Gas Stations, an exciting new feature that offers players cool perks and opportunities for passive income. Here’s how it works: Own Your Spot: There are three gas stations available to hire, and they reset every server restart. Passive Earnings: Once hired, the gas station generates money over time, which is deposited into a secure safe. It’s up to you to empty the safe regularly—before someone else tries to take it! Raids and Risks: Other players can raid your gas station to steal the cash you’ve earned. Keep an eye out and defend your property! Time-Based Ownership: If you’re offline for more than 10 minutes, your gas station becomes available for someone else to hire. Stay active to maximize your income! Play More, Earn More: The longer you stay in-game, the higher your return on investment.

Congratulations to @Austin M and @Ken for their promotions to Senior Admin. Give them a few days to get their feet wet before blowing up their DMs. They join Akula and Darkknight as community staff leads in overseeing the staff team, and managing the server & community.
These are well deserved, and we are excited to see what they can do to help improve the server as we move into 2025.

Id like everyone to look out for Constable Hunter. He has taken control of almost every federal event in the last hour or so I've been on and is extremely helpful to everyone around him. Hes a brand new constable but has potential to do great things if he keeps going in the right direction.
