    Literally not a single cartel gang plays on Asylum anymore and you decide to buff cops and add skins. Gangs bring banks, feds, prisons, drug running, and competition on the server that people want to log on for.

    Git access to the client mission file. No server files or database structure. It's sort of like trying to juggle while blindfolded, when you have no means of debugging code without implementing your changes into another framework and hoping they're somewhat compatible. Besides, I'm still waiting for that other thing

    Maybe it's time to open up more access to contributors so they can get more meaningful work done? Because it seems like every time people cry about lack of updates we get the obligatory "I work 80 hours a week" or "maybe if I was paid I'd make more time for asylum" Because if you don't have the time to work on asylum why not allow others appropriate access so they can donate their time and skills for the betterment of asylum?

    I would like to welcome our newest contributors @Bikstok @NiiRoZz @Destrah. These guys are going to help with a few things around here. We have some really cool projects in the works. Bamf and Gnashes will be working with them on some different things. Please help me in welcoming them to the team. I will keep you updated as I can.

    As much as people love dirty money, I'm honestly surprised by the backlash.  FWIW, this was how the bank was always supposed to be coded, but Paratus decided to use dirty money since it was already there.  By changing the payout from dirty money to something else, I have simplified your ability to rob the bank, and decreased the forced choke points (rebel outposts) where you could convert that to actual money.  
    For those that were here a long time ago you will likely remember the old bank mechanic where you couldn't deposit the money for 10 minutes after robbing the bank which gave the cops a chance to capture you.  Back then, only statically placed ATMs could be used to deposit money, so it would limit your chance to get the money banked after the 10 minute timer.  Now every ATM you see is usable and you can deposit the money literally almost anywhere.  All you have to do is get away and then use the Banded Bank Money from your inventory and then deposit it.  
    Oh, also back then if you as a player didn't have insurance and the bank was robbed it would take money from your bank account to cover the costs of the robbery.  
    So while I get that you like cake, and you're very used to the type of cake you have been served for a while, perhaps in this instance you should try out the new cake recipe and see how you like it.

    The point of the change to the bank money was to allow more people access to that content.  You can get drills at a turf (and likely other spots soon).  I don't know why there is such hostility for something that makes doing a bank easier for the community.  You guys just can't seem to take good news and move on at times...  
    Also, now when you're holding the money you don't run slow as crap.  Again, think of the upside here.

    I have returned, hopefully we will be able to bring back some gang life and activity to the fold, look forward to hopefully seeing some old gangs come around to fight every now and again. Those of you who remember us, you know we never pass up a fight, good to be back.
     
    And to the newer gangs, don't listen to everyone else. Just because you weren't around 2-3 years ago doesn't mean you're a bad gang. However, it also doesn't mean you're good. New strats and playstyles are what keeps games like arma fun, but some things will never change. It'll be nice to see what Asylum has to offer nowadays.

    After yesterday’s fiesta I decided I’d offer to help anyone who pm’s me on how to change your ip instantly (for those who don’t know how)
    Basically,  you will need access to your router, so if it’s your neighbors or locked in your parents safe  you might not be able to use this method.
     
    For DHCP: What you’re going to do is emulate the MAC address of your router,  which forces your ISP to renew your modem’s license giving you a new public IP.
     
    - It’s free
    - This requires no VPN or software. There will be no change to server connection speed or ping.
    - It is a permanent IP change
    - It is your “world” or “public” IP and not your local IP
    - It takes 30-50 seconds and you should be able to do it without restarting arma. This means you could change IPs between matches. 
    - It does not break TOS of your ISP.
    - Workaround for Dynamic ISP’s. As smarter people then me have pointed out static ips can’t be changed via MAC change.

    I left Asylum 3 months ago because there are never any changes to the cartels or rebel life in general. So many people left asylum because you always put your focus on the shitty details like skins instead of revamping the server. Fix Asylum.
