Ok? I've been here since 2015. In multiple different gangs, made SGT on cop, been in MULTIPLE ghosthawk situations 1 since wipe. You can keep acting dumb as fuck all you want about the situation but I mean seriously it doesn't take THAT much brain power to see I was referring to recently and since the wipe. Also at that time it was the first and ONLY time since the wipe it was used so yeah... so the armed Ghosthawk has been used what? twice? 🤣

Okay don’t mean to just jump in here but it’s pretty clear u don’t know what ur talking abt. The ghosthawk was pulled probably after the wipe more than it was prewipe. I myself had it pulled on me atleast 3 times in 1 night and that multiple times on other nights.

I’ve probably only seen the ghost hawk about 10 times so that’s probably not enough to gage its effectiveness but every time it’s been pulled civs seem to deal with it pretty easily. That being said I can see how civs find it annoying. I mean our glorious dev corporal @Pizza Manpulled one while he was on civ during Nathan’s convoy event and it was taken care of within minutes

Nah bro I was specifically told by the person who pulled it who is a CM that it was the 1st time all wipe it was used. I think they would know better than you 🤣

Still not understanding the point. The point is that YOU DONT PLAY enough to know that it has been pulled on us multiple times in one night, and total more times than I can count of both hands and toes.

I don't understand why you're so determined to be right about something that

A: Doesn't effect you because you don't play

and B: You don't have any understanding of on a basic level because you have never experienced it

The reason Asylum will continue to die is because decision makers and the people in their ear are not the community. You're spewing bullshit that you simply don't understand, but because you have direct connections to SA's and decision makers, they will listen to it an implement change that benefits nobody. There are basic changes that the community has wanted FOR YEARS that get pushed to the side for a new windows key interaction menu?

This debate isn't even about the ghosthawk anymore. It's about how pathetically tone deaf any of the decision makers in the community are anymore because the people feeding "information" don't play enough to have any more knowledge than vibes and feelings.

Big owner man Rogue has been MIA for like a year+. In 6 weeks we have gotten 2 new events (that were old), face time (that Oly has and does better), and a new windows interaction menu (also that Oly has and does better). The only captain that cares to play anymore is DK, and even he has given up at this point.
 

I've despised Oly for a decade and LITERALLY the only thing keeping me on Asy anymore is how bad Oly NLR feels.

Okay sure the time u were on might’ve been the first time it was pulled but news flash…. The server is still being played when ur not on it. I never said that it wasn’t pulled for the first time with u. I’m saying it has been pulled multiple times after without you

I did in fact tell my gunners that if they killed anyone, I was going to crash it. So, they shot between the vehicles and when vortex got killed at air hq, I did a backflip into the ground. So yeah, pretty easy to take down essentially... 😑

My favorite part about this was when pizza nigga flipped it upside down and dove into the ground and all of you APD retards in the channel: “ghost hawk down” “see how easy it is” “we took care of that in no time” “it only could kill one of us”

So I'm not going to touch upon anything but the 5th paragraph here.  What are some of the changes that you're looking for.  Often time people tell things and then it never makes it back to us.  In terms of substantive changes that need to be made I don't think any are actually on our radar.  If you wouldn't mind either messaging them to me or posting them here I would appreciate it. @Yung Jaypl

yeah but i dont play the server and i've never seen the ghosthawk so it cant be that much of a problem

After a quick 30 second brainstorm:

Light modding for textures and clothing

Making gang skins not take 6 months for approval and making them actually work

Flags at turfs are still not poppable

A new event (one that isn't just an old event being reintroduced)

Doing something (literally anything) with the entire 8 km circle in the NW corner that nobody goes to ever for any reason at all

New casino games

Legal form of infamy talents

Adding another form of cartels (IE oly black markets)

Increasing inventory in sheds as promised

The leaders of my gang (Crimson) all pitched in money to get our gang skin. Are we going to get a refund or maybe I gotta' get big Junk to charge back our dough. You people obviously have no intention of providing the promised product, not to mention you already killed the server before we get to see our gang skin.

p.s. the chargeback was a joke dont remove my friend from admin because you're total faggots who can't deliver an orca skin or a working server. he aint even awaken rn. Just sad that we all bought into the lies of you snakeoil salesman that you weren't going to divebomb the server like you did before wipe. An utter disgrace when you manage to get a 400% boost to the playerbase, collect donations for future development (or just daddy's wallet) and then refuse to fix any of the issues that caused the server to die in the first place. Instead of focusing on player interaction, we got literally the most useless updates known to man. You made it easier to farm insane amounts of money and harder to actually go around the map and fight. Not to mention you ignored everyone saying that some people like to roleplay so maybe we could try to find a way to protect new players in the major cities. What a clown show.

Add another rebel at arms island to incentivize fighting when its being camped

Turfs being a full rebel gets iffy for me because then why fight boat/fort? We did that with the stash houses and that seemed to be what people said.  Maybe we add AKs to turfs? Idk I'll throw it around.

In terms of the rebel there are already SO many rebels compared to how many there have been historically, we'll think about it but again the logical place for another rebel is where boat is right now, which then includes us moving the boat which while not impossible just is another layer to it.

What other cartel benefits do you need? We already do the cash bonus with the lower timer and differentiated rewards, is there something particularly you're looking for?

Sure I'll do that right now, tbh I have never been a fan of cops seizing any vehicles that arent armed/ifrits

Don't add full rebels, keep them turf dealers but allow people to pop them. That was the one good change you made pre-wipe, giving us control over the turfs and not leaving it up to some fucking timer. Let players go out and get interaction instead of having to wait 120 minutes for it to just randomly occur.

 

Add the second arms rebel, a good portion of your playerbase are fighters when when the arms rebel is camped, people get off. Give me one good reason why the fuck another rebel on the map actually matters at all whatsoever and I promise I'll send you 30 dollars on Cashapp, word of honor.

 

You guys (devs) literally deleted all the cartel benefits that existed before. Re-adding cooldown timers makes it harder to fight.

 

W change. Too many cops are way to zealous especially to new players. Olympus does one thing way better than Asylum and thats giving New Players a fucking chance to play the server without visiting rape city.

At bare minimum add a regearing option at turfs.

The only ones that legitimately get used are arms and sofia, and donor rebel only gets used when arms is camped. Driving 4 km or being forced to pull at another cap just feels bad. Who is hurt by having more regear options other than players keen on camping rebel and shooting nakeds? Having another rebel on the island makes it much easier to come back when one is being camped.

Just more money, or maybe some system where being involved in cartels for x amount of time reduces gearing costs (probably exploitable). Cartels in the current state are great if nobody dies, but holding a cartel for 3 hours to get 300k? After you die twice its a net negative to go anymore.

This is based. There is literally no reason that flat beds at coke field are seizeable. Most cops have braincells and don't fuck over the newer players, but it happens more often than you would believe.

 

I had another post too with some other input, most of which I think are a little more relevant. I added these just as some extra thoughts.
