Stings require no special mags but have lower damage.

Vermins require mags but have higher damage.

Consider that the trade off.

I don't think we are trying to remove Vermin runs at all, but the risk/reward of Vermin and Sting runs in particular was off compared to other similar activities. This is all due to a simple bug that will be fixed in the next patch.
