Didn't you guys just get a new gang prestige and ranking system?
Maybe they should give you guys tanks or something...
The ultimate pussy rebel who needs every advantage he can get.
No wonder why you're a shit rebel loser who needs every advantage he can get. All you do is sit around and defend obvious advantages by talking shit on a forum and pretend you're some elite skilled player.
Sorry that I call it like it is kid.  Been this way since they reverted all rebel nerfs from 6.0 and left all cop nerfs in.
You bad ass pussy asylum rebel with better guns, better armor, better vehicles, less rules that leave you at a combat disadvantage, no laser guns that give away you positions, and every event setup for you to sit in a defensive position while those with lesser equipment get to assault your position talking shit.
You sure are desperate to keep every advantage you can get for such a skilled player...
MRAP Smokes - Not available to average officer, better or equal available to 100% of rebel population.
Very close Spawns - Close spawns mean nothing with better guns, better armor, better vehicles, less rules that leave you at a combat disadvantage, no laser guns that give away you positions, and every event setup for you to sit in a defensive position while those with lesser equipment get to assault your position.
Cheaper gear - Cheaper and weaker, let's charge full price for gear equity.
Cheaper MRAPs - Not available to average officer, better or equal available to 100% of rebel population.
More numbers - In many cases, rebels have more numbers than officers.  This is a flexible item that depends on the situation.
No Group cap - Group cap means nothing with coordination, wow shoot the police and nobody else, so hard.
A feature that literally lets you spawn in combat - If you are assaulting a HQ, you get to kill officers who are spawning in with weaker gear.
Hurons: Yes they are easy to take down, but using it to tow MRAPs, the possibilities are endless. - Not available to average officer, better or equal available to 100% of rebel population.
Drones - Not available to average officer.
SWAT Strider Thermal - Not available to average officer and SWAT is broken more often than not, when SWAT was bugged and people were able to match you guys gear wise, you cried about it and got your shit pushed in.
Pussy asylum rebels have better guns, better armor, better vehicles, less rules that leave you at a combat disadvantage, no laser guns that give away you positions, and every event setup for you to sit in a defensive position while those with lesser equipment get to assault your position.
Get it through your thick skull, you have numerous advantages as a rebel and you would get your shit pushed in if we were anywhere near a level playing field.  You guys are pampered pussies who get treated with kid gloves by the people running this server.

Tell me more about how you are so much better than "bad" people when you have better guns, better armor, better vehicles, less rules that leave you at a combat disadvantage, no laser guns that give away your positions, and every event is setup for you to sit in a defensive position while those with lesser equipment get to assault your position.
The skill it takes to talk shit with all those advantages, whew...

    Must be tough...
I'll gladly pay the price rebels have to match you gear wise, let me rdm you in red zones, no more laser tracers, and armored vehicles.

Weak ass asylum rebels get another buff, what a shocker...
Better guns, better armor, better vehicles, less rules that leave them at a combat disadvantage, no laser guns that give away their positions, and every event is setup for them to sit in a defensive position while those with lesser equipment get to assault their position, but they need more, lol...

Just 1 life the prison/fed/bank, if a higher up tries to order you to stay, log off.  Get back to the RP/normal civ interactions, don't give these kids what they want.
Fact is, rebels got better guns, better armor, better vehicles, less rules that leave them at a combat disadvantage, no laser guns that give away their positions, and every event is setup for them to sit in a defensive position while those with lesser equipment get to assault their position.
The pampered rebels of asylum are not good, they just have nearly every advantage possible while also being more coordinated as a group that plays together.  They'd get their shit pushed in if they had to face gear equity every fight and the SWAT "exploit" they all cry about constantly shows that quite well.

This patch will go live on the servers shortly:
The APD has finally been equipped with body cameras.  Unfortunately we do not have recording capability yet, so only the dispatcher can watch what the officers are doing. Spawning at a house within 600m of an active cartel capture location has been disabled.  Also, crates in houses 600m from an active cartel location will not spawn in.  When the capture point is not within 600m of a house, then the house will function as normal.   The APD SPAR will now load rubber bullets by default for Constable+ Undercover APD officers with access to Pilot Coveralls will now have the correct skin displayed Revived players with full inventories should now keep their headgear and NVGs Added some additional cover to the new southern Arms Cartel capture point The cartel changes above are to allow us more freedom in where to place cartels going forward.

Personally, this is what I would like to see.
    1. Lts+ can only authorize lethals (negotiable for Sgts+, but I am hesitant)
    2. Lethal = Auto pardon, no money
    3. Wiped in an engagement, without backup on the way = no return until backup
    4. Feds, Banks, and Prison = 3 life Max (self-imposed, so higher ups means they need to train that or get it drilled in players heads...still negotiable to no life rule on those 3)
    5. Cops get free gear (I still stand by that the government pays for gear, not vehicles)
    6. More RP training for cops, if you can't give a little, you don't deserve to play cop (like good old Leon use to do)
    7. More patrol and recon trainings. Cops don't need to drive right into illegal zones and get lit up (ever notice that outside every illegal zone has high ground to binoc down at? You get a head count of law breakers and call for backup if needed).
***After the players get those two down, then worry about end game tactics***
    8. Seize weapons at HQ or after the engagement, but keep players in god-mode restraints.
Just my opinion, it offers fair-play and doesn't really nerf the APD. On top of that, the trainings, which are very basic, will only improve the APD.
    **EDIT**
Also, make prison break a defend for the cops. They always have to attack, and I'm sure even the rebels would like to attack a defended position from the cops once in awhie.

I've been asking this for months. Devs don't understand how terrible group money making is. The Dynamic market is intended so people don't do the same run over and over again, however it is so aggressive that during group runs, half the group gets significantly cut payouts, and i'm not even talking about large trucks, i'm talking about a hours work with Box Trucks when you combine cops coming over and over again, it shouldn't be like that.
Take a look at other servers, selling money is not a rule, but no ones buys it anyway because you can get 10 guys on, run meth twice, then when the market drops, you switch to moonshine etc.. whereas nearly everyone I know on Asylum buys money for fights. Thats how the Dynamic Market should be, not the way it is now. When was the last time you saw the larger gangs come on, on a daily basis to make money together? Doesn't happen, whereas it always happens on other servers. Make money together during the day, fight at night, whereas Asylum is, Buy money, and just fight, nothing else.
For the short time Elysuim played on another server, people would wake up early just to make money together as a group in Hemm'ts and Orca's, even though they already had enough to fight for the next week or so. All i'm asking is for some changes to money making and the dynamic market so we can actually use large trucks together, not get fucked by how long it takes, or get fucked at the drug dealer when we all get half cuts because of the market dropping after the first person selling. All I want to see is large group runs in large trucks to return, it will be better for both civilians and the APD.
Also consider the locations, like why on earth is illegal fields so close to spawns and main roads? I don't understand the logic behind that.
Please consider making some changes @bamf

What other advantages would you bad ass rebels like?  Life rules?  What a joke.
At the time, cops had to start paying for gear under the claim that rebels would need to craft top tier weaponry, but the rebels cried and now cops just get to pay for lesser gear.  Good times.
  12. JimmyBeans liked a post in a topic by Ronald in APD needs balancing
I risk 8.8k per loadout when not undercover, 14k per loadout while undercover. Which considering the rebels are in defensive positions 90% of the time is a lot.
  13. JimmyBeans liked a post in a topic by Plus One Chromosome in Police Respawning
I'm absolutely fine with that. Then it is a fair fight. Then if they get dropped they can't just stream back in. But also, they should have to pay a near equal price for that carrier light if they want that. It isn't default for rebels, we have to pay a pretty penny to have that armor.

The pampered rebels need all the advantages they can get guys, they couldn't stand up to a fair fight because they'd get crushed under the boot.  At this point they can pay less for a 7.62 than some cops pay for a gun, and the new "fixed" re-gear just means we get to pay more once again.
Oh well, no fucks given, 1 life rule for all big gang engagements imo.  Let the scrubs who need better guns, better armor, better vehicles, better objective engagement positions, and laxer rules pretend they are so pro.

Not a fan of the new UI, but don't worry as I have a suggestion from my early days for a new UI that would be better.

  17. JimmyBeans liked a post in a topic by Legit in Pardoning & Parole PSA
This is a PSA to any officers that don't know. When you pardon somebody it also removes their parole. I am only mentioning this because I have seen people go upto officers with speeding tickets asking to be pardoned.
For speeding tickets: Tell them they have to concent to a search to be pardoned. If they are on parole, it will say on the search menu.
For anything above 500: Restrain them and search them before pardoning.
Always make sure they are not on parole before pardoning somebody, It is being abused!

Edit: Giving them a ticket will act the same as pardoning. Credit: @Mike Santamaria

I think the game is fine the way it is but a solo rebel player might have a different view on the subject.
The BH update gave a lot of these pistol banger's who were getting owned by rebel gangs a good chance at catching one now.
Prior to the update our gang could run around with Katiba's and only really lose one every 3 days sometimes I would go weeks with the same kit
owning BH. I felt bad it was so bad that we had a couple of hills called "Hamburger hill" because of the amount of people littered on the side of the hill.

With this update its very difficult to last 1 day with the same kit specially if you are doing bandit fun stuff.
The Rebels should be outnumbered and our tactics and strategies must change. Change it not bad all the time
you just need to adapt and move on. It will be a challenge but a challenge we welcome!

Pre 6.0 perfect. You had a reason to log in (Making money or fight for important Cartels (aka more money).
Asylum was alive cuz ppl could do smth 24/7 even as a cop.
Now its like once hit 1 mil theres nothing to do anymore.

Honestly, the RP that ensued on the original Server 5 was main reason you heard so many people heartbroken when it was shutdown the first time. You'd think it would have been a major hell hole, but DHM, Jailbait, the APD, and the civs all (well most all of them) had a level of RP that just immersed you into the server. Sometimes you still get that feel in Kavala, but it is far more rare than it should be.
I applaud Boris for putting his Ghillie in the closet. Pistol banging can bring so much more joy than a MK18 if you let it. Especially, if that pistol is a P07.
Give it a try fam, you might just like it!

You guys should add the ability to drop an anchor for your boat or submarine. Because they tend to float away. Just a cool suggestion. Would make Wreck Ex. A little bit easier.
  22. M0T4RD liked a post in a topic by JimmyBeans in Dear Career Cops
You guys should be crafting the guns anyway or buying them from people who crafted and sold them.  The whole compromise of 6.0 where cops lost free top tier loadouts under the guise that rebels would have a limited supply of superior weapons is long gone.  Crafting is basically irrelevant at this point since you can just buy the shit for a bit more money.

Why would the government tax the equipment of their OWN fucking police force. Infact, why would they charge for any equipment at all?
Infact, taxes PAY for the equipment of police forces, not the other way around. Holy shit I honestly dont think ive seen something so deadbeat retarded im actually fucking stunned.
  24. JimmyBeans liked a post in a topic by Gatorade in Who decided it was a good Idea to Tax Rebel shit
Im okay with all cops getting 7.62's but you have to pay for it. Same with equal equipment, but again concept is concept, cop guns shouldnt be taxed eithor since its used to protect the government
  25. JimmyBeans liked a post in a topic by TheCrestedPenguin in Who decided it was a good Idea to Tax Rebel shit
So why do cops have to pay for government issued equipment #FreeCopGear? Stop bitching and do a bank and make some money doing jackshit. You rebels have enough money to pay for that extra 2k Go cap a turf or 2 and get cheaper and better guns than cops.
