    Default house slots 2, not including gang house
    Can "upgrade" it to 5 by just accumulating enough hours within maybe 3 months.
    Houses are removed from people under the playtime.
     
    Example
    The 3 month playtime is 30 hours.
    Every 10 hours gives me an extra slot, either automatically, or maybe home improvement allows me to unlock it somehow.
    At the start of this being implemented, everyone is assumed to have the 5 house slot upgrades.
    If people don't get enough time after 3 months from this being added, they aren't really active.
    If people do get the time every 3 months, they have nothing to worry about or think about. The upgrade stays and will refresh as long as they don't go three months without getting the playtime.
     
    Any comments or better ideas are welcome.

    What they could have done was add the electric bill, but only for inactive players. For example they could make it so if you play less then 20 hours a month, you pay a big electric bill fee (maybe have it scale with the amount of time you have been on). This will only hurt players that are taking up the good houses without playing. (They would keep the 30 days house removal as well)

    These people spent hours upon hours grinding and grinding to get #1 or #2 spot. Why is this a bad thing that Asylum is trying to address?
    Yes they have money. Are they going to spend it? Doesn't look like it. The way I see it, money is pointless if you don't spend it. But some people don't see it that way. So why all of the sudden this has become a problem? Just curious.

    Still feel like it doesn't address any core issues. Even if I keep playing the same amount (which is probably still a lot by normal standards, lower than the average you seem to want to be playing) I'll still hold onto the same houses forever? Someone could theoretically just pay the bill on one house whenever he feels like playing for a whole hour a month and the same issue will still exist. It seems like people who play consistently but not an absolute ton or not in the 'intended' way of playing purely to grind money every day are being punished. I feel like people may potentially play less as a whole since its only really worth it to pay the bills if you intend to spend a lot of time on in a given week. Don't really see how it deals with the inflation of money on the server either. I agree that there should be some type of running maintenance cost and way to force people to engage with the server, but not sure if this is quite the right direction. Feels more off-putting to someone like me who mainly plays casually, personally.

    This would be expensive for me than before.  I'm not seeing how this is more fair?  The only people who would benefit from such changes are people doing crypto 
    I rather there be no electric bills unless you're doing crypto.  The housing system is a lot worse now and that is disappointing.  I think there is ways you could tackle the housing problem without forcing everyone to play the game in a way they don't want to

    Yeah. I mean, I am happy even with no money back. I just have lead containers on a few houses that don't really need them. Just there for when I rarely transport some LSD pills over there or get some from metal detecting or whatever. 50% value back would be great.
    I wish there were another way to stop house hoarding though. I really dislike that money is the thing being used to keep it in check. I've played like 7000 hours on Asylum, but I've taken some lengthy breaks where I only played a couple times a month. Now if I decide I wanna take a break, I might come back and be missing a large chunk of my bank account to something that wasn't RPG's or minigun Qilins.

    Naaah. That's stupid. Just remove electricity bills for people without crypto upgrades. Fixed.
    I'd be happier with ifrits being 1k each than having to waste so much money on houses I ALREADY spent a ton of money on.

    I just think this whole electricity thing is anti-fun. If it is the price to pay for crypto then fine. But I didn't invest in any of that. No house charges for like 6 years or however long. Don't add it in now. It's just annoying. It doesn't make me think "wow I better grind some money to make sure I can pay my bills!". It makes me feel like I am gonna end up forced to make money when I don't feel like it. I spent a long time already grinding for money during my time on this server.
